Hi

A little report from me.

What should have been day one in the park:

We had planned to go for 3 days (2 nights) and would go on an early flight (8.20 from Copenhagen) so we would have most of a day in DL. We arrived in good time and checked in, they told us that the flight was a little late, well those things happens. When the time came up that we should be in the plane, nothing had happened. Then we found out that the plane was cancelled, the cabin crew in SAS was on strike. Now what? I called another company to se if there was a flight that day. There were, at 5 pm, I took that. We found out later that if we had chosen the rescheduling in SAS we could get on a flight at about 7 pm, we chose to get the 2 hours in the hotel rather than the airport.
We could not get our baggage, we had to fill out a form, and the would send it to us if they found it.
We arrived at Disneyland Hotel at about 8 pm, 9 hours late with no baggage, the park was of course closed. Here, though, started the magic. I had reserved a room in Castle Club, and we got upgraded to a suite. This dark day ended good, even though we lost a day in the park.

Good to see that the Disney magic came through in the end, hope you'll come back and tell us about the rest of your stay, would love to see some pics of your DLH suite - what a fantastic birthday treat :thumbsup2

How dreadful to loose a whole day in the park :sad1:

But what a huge surprise when you arrived! :woohoo:
I hope the rest of your trip made up for the start, looking forward to hearing more!

I hope it gets better for you. Nice surprise when you arrived:thumbsup2

ugh - sorry that the trip started out so poorly.... (and now you know why I always carry a change of undies in the carry on ;) )

Hope that the rest of the trip gets better!!!

Please send the Pictures of the Szuites to us. I would see the Fotos too.

Thanks a lot.

Greetings from Germany

I have tried to post some pictures, but I get an error. Something about postcount too low.

You can continue new threads for each day of your trip and come back later and add in the photos :)
