Over the weekend we had a yard sale at my parents house. Anyway all the grandkids were there at one point or another. So my nephew, 2, was there playing with his cars and my 3 year old niece came up behind him and took one of his cars. I was standing in front of him so I could see his face, he looked up and at her and back at me like "oh no she didn't" and tool off after and jumped in the air and knocked her down to the ground and took his car back. As this happened so fast that all of us stood there with the look of shock on our faces! poor girl didn't have a chance! If I was recording it I know I would have won some money!!!

My niece is ok she didn't even get a scrape. It shook her up and her mom calmed her down and yes he did get in trouble. But I have never seen a 2 year old that didn't trow a fit or cry when another kid took their toy but to just take matters in their own hands like he did. I think it had a lot to do with his age that shocked everyone! :3dglasses

One of my twin nephews is like that, not aggressive per say, but has always stuck up for himself and had no problem taking of bullys who were older or out weighed him. In a way you know you have to give him the 'use your words not your fists' talk, but inside you're thinking 'way to go' :rotfl:

Of course his twin outweighed him and pounded on him for the first couple of years (that twin won't fight anyone but his brother) so he learned to defend himself early.

I know, my nieces dad was the one that went 'way to go!' :rolleyes1

My mom told him that him and his daddy have been watching too much football!

My dd was like that she was the one that has always been the 'oh no you didn't' and 'took' care of it herself. I have had so many talks about words and not fists with her. :sad2:
