My 2 cents on the young child/alligator tragedy at the Grand Floridian

After all these years and the abundance of alligators in the state in Florida, why doesn't the sign say beware of alligators? Or at least some words that alert the guest of the credible potential danger?

Disney like their guests to believe in 'the Disney bubble.' They have underplayed the danger until a tragedy happened. No one wants to think how nearby such danger is. Locals and frequent visitors know, but a family from Nebraska would never give a gator a thought. We can't live in a bubble. Harsh and sad lesson for Disney a lifetime of pain for the family.
