MVMCP, worth it?

Was planning to call today and buy tickets. Is it worth it for 2 adults?

I thought it was last year. I had never gone for Christmas before and it was just magical to be there. The friends who took me have been many times and feel it's getting more crowded and not as special but I loved it.

We went last year as well and went to MVMCP and loved it. We are going again this December and will be going to MVMCP again!!

My DW and I went to WDW last Dec. It was our first time going to WDW in Dec and we wanted to experience MVMCP. We got tickets to the MVMCP two nights so that we could get everything in. We are glad we did. If we only did it once we would not have been able to get in all the shows, FW's, characters, and the parade. Our first night was very crowded and main street was wall to wall people, our second night wasn't as bad.

We are glad that we did it, but after all is said and done, I doubt we would do it again. We experienced it once and it was great but to us it definitely wasn't worth the extra money. A lot of folks get the MVMCP tickets to just ride the rides as well. It's a cheaper way to enter the MK from 4pm - Mid and the line waits are usually shorter during MVMCP, but not always.

Anyway, if it's your 1st time, I say do it as it is a wonderful experience.

We went to MVMCP in December 2003 and loved it . We are booked at the WL in December and are planning to go to the party again and we can't wait . You will get many varied opinions as some people don't think it's worth the money; while others, like myself, think it's well worth it . It's a neat way to experience Disney at Christmas time that you won't see on any regular day. Plus, there's merchandise that's only available for purchase at the party. I say if you've never gone, it's worth it to do atleast once . I'm sure you'll have a great trip whether you attend the party or not.....the party is just an extra Christmas treat .

A definite MUST!!!! DH and I had a great time! Next trip will again be in December just so we can go again! Seeing all the kids faces light up when it's show time, parade time or snowing on Main Street makes it worth it.

I agree that at least once is a must! I went about 5 years ago so it wasn't as crowded back then! It was awesome to be in the park during a time when attendance was limited! A definite must at least once! I would go every time I went if they had it in the summer!

I haven't been to MVMCP, but I would say do it. My DH and I went to P&PP last spring and had a blast. It is similar hard ticket event so I would say go. We were also concerned as to if it would be worth the extra money, it was.

My family went last year and my tickets for Dec '08 MVMCP arrived yesturday. The parade and fireworks alone make the money worth it, not to mention that my kids also were able to ride their favourite rides w/o any wait times! Definitely do the party!

Ordered mine on Sunday, my parents have never been to MVMCP but DH and I go every trip we take in Dec.(12/9). We do MNSSHP also when we go in Oct. I can't wait for Mama to see snow on Main Street. I think it is worth it, advance ordering for certain dates will save just a little bit. 4 tickets cost $211.56.

Does anyone have any idea how many tickets WDW sells for MVMCP? Just to get an idea what the crowd would possibly be like. Am seriously thinking about buying 2 tickets. Thanks!!
