MVMCP?'s for a first timer

I'm curious what's not to be missed at the party and which items could be left off my list. Thanks in advance, you wonderful Disers!!

the parade. it is unique to MMVCP.

depends on your kid's age. I have a 6 year old DD and she LOVES the dance parties with the characers.
My 12 year old dd prefers the "special' shows for the party. I think it is called "Twas the Night before Christmas" - it is listed on the party map. The both enjoy the show in front of the castle. They also like to take photos with the characters if they are in special outfits.

The parade, the show in front of the castle and the fireworks I would say are must see. There is also a new show this year in tomorrowland called "Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" It features Buzz, Mike from Monsters Inc. and Stitch. It was an ok show but I would rather do the parade, the fireworks and the show in front of the castle. Also the abliity to get on most of the attractions with a minimal or no wait is a definite plus.
