MVMCP question

Planning our Disney Trip for mid November. Currently have 3 day stay with the free meal plan and a 2 day park hopper ticket.
My question is if we decide to purchase the MVMCP tickets, will they be attached to the magic bands and what will guarantee that Disney doesn't use one of our 2 day passes if we show up at the park after 4pm

The MK has entrance touchpoints dedicated to MVMCP guests. Enter through those touchpoints and the system will only deduct your MVMCP entitlements.
