MVMCP on Dec 16 (Fri) or Dec 18 (Sun)?

We have a group that has never been to the MVMCP (other than myself) and they would like to experience it once. Dec 16th or 18th are our options. I'm leaning towards the 18th since it seems like Christmas crowds may be starting by then so it could be an opportunity to get some rides in with shorter waits vs the day time and I expect both these parties will sell out.

Does my thought process make sense or is there some reason to try Friday instead?

I personally would say the 18th. Fridays are usually pretty busy and there's still a week before Christmas so I would think Sunday would be slower, if there's any such thing that close to Christmas.

Thanks for that! It also made me think about what parties people may lean towards selecting. For those there the week before Friday will be popular before they head home I expect and there is still another party after the 18th. I'd suspect that people would be more likely to choose the last party vs one when they first arrive.

Aw - who am I kidding - they'll both be busy! But I think we'll have greater opportunities on Friday outside of the party than Sunday when there may be more people visiting the parks with the pick up in holiday traffic.

I think of it more like Friday you have locals coming for the weekend, or even just for the party, the week before Christmas. Then you have those traveling or making it their last hoorah before they leave on Saturday or Sunday. Sure you'll get the incoming people on Sunday that will just be arriving or coming for the Christmas week ahead but I still think the 18th would be better or comparable. Either way good luck. =)
