My partner and I are considering going during our trip. We could probably go on the 16th of Dec. He is skeptical, having read someplace that it is so crowded you can hardly move, much less ride rides, or see parades. It's an awful lot of money to spend for one ride apiece and whatever show we can see with me on his shoulders. How much were you able to see and do?

We tend to skip the rides and go to the special holiday shows/parade. There's always time for a few rides but the entertainment is what we go for. I would think that if you don't care about the shows you'd be able to hit lots of rides that night. We've never had a big problem with crowds at this event and the later you stay the emptier the MK gets.

Have fun!

I've been to 2 MVMCP always at the beginning of December and usually on a Sun or Mon. We also went to MNSSHP on Halloween night.

Both MVMCP we NOT bad crowd-wise especially compared to MNSSHP on Halloween night!

We usually get our photo over with. Ride some Fantasyland rides (we have 2 young DDs). Try to catch a show or two. Watch the fireworks and before you know it, it's just about time to get a spot for the second parade.

There's also free Hot Choc and cookies, Snow on Main Street and Cinderella's carriage is out behind her Castle. The atmosphere alone is worth the price of admission.

I think it may depend on what night you go too and how far into December you are. The 16th is a Tuesday which, IMHO, wouldn't be as crowded as a Friday.

I certainly think it's worth it! It's a tradition for us and we'll be there this December 2 for our 3rd party!

Last December we did everything we wanted to. We did the rides and the great shows and fireworks. We went on a Sunday night and found it not that crowded. During our stay, the Friday night was sold out, so I am guessing that night the crowds would be greater than what we had. The Christmas parade is really nice. When Chip and Dale go by on the cookie float, you can smell the cookies. There are nice touches like that throughout the entire party.

It really is a lot of fun. You get a neat photo of yur group that they mail home. The date is on it, so it is a nice keepsake.

We've gone twice before, (and will be there on the 16th) and have managed to see all the holiday shows, the parade, the fireworks, and even a few rides. The 16th will be the latest that we have ever gone to a mvmcp, but I'm hoping that because it's a tuesday that it won't be too crowded. But crowded or not
it's still worth going.

Shows, parade, fireworks and snow on Main Street are worth the price of MVMCP ticket.Plus you get free family photo, hot chocolate and cookies and MVMCP pin.Plus you should be able to do most attractions, wait a minutes after second parade can you can walk on many.:earsboy:  :earsgirl:
