MVMCP how far in advance do you ahve to purchase to get discount?

Do you have to purchase online to get the passholder advance discount? Can you get the passholder advance discount by buying them in person (is there a particular place to do this?) and how far in "advance" must it be?

We are thinking of going twice to MVMCP (because we always feel after MNSSHP that we wish we could go again), but might want to wait until we got the first time to decide. (Mon/Tues as the first, then possibly Thurs as the second).

Not sure about the AP discount, but I was told by GS that any day prior to is considered advance, just can't buy them on the day of... not sure how it works with AP discounting (not sure meanign not sure if you ahve to buy them in advance). I was told, that it could, and has sold out for certain dates in the past-- so that was a concern for us, so I booked yesterday for 11/28.
