Although I have been to WDW many times the MVMCP is all new to me and I'm feeling a bit out of control about it. We are scheduled to be there 12/16. I just don't like not knowing what to expect.

So... if the MK closes at 6 and the Wishes fireworks are at 6 also.. what do they do ?? Get the park totally empty and let you in at 7 pm?? What if you are there for the day , do you have to leave and come back in?? How does it all work.??

Thanks

No if you are there all day, you will not have to leave and than come back. There will be places you can go to show your Christmas ticket and get a wrist band for the party.
If Wishes is at 6, then as soon as they are over they will start sending everyone with a wrist band into tomorrowland, and will start ushering everyone else out of the park.
BTW if you decied to be at another park during the day of the MVMCP and want to head over to MK early, they start letting people with the party tickets in around 4.

First off take deep breaths.........MVMCP is great

There are no wishes at 600

the park does a hard close at 600
all shops and rides

if you are already in the park and have tickets to the party you wil be ushered to tomorrowland it is open

if you are not in the park you can enter as early as 4 with just your MVMCP pass (rumor has it and you should know by then)
and be given a wrist band to stay in park after 6

another option is to make a PS reservation close to 6

good luck
have fun

Ok here is the scoop for you :)

The original schedule had Wishes listed for 6pm but they do not do fireworks for the day guests on nights of the parties so Wishes has been removed from the schedule for the day.

As for the park you can get into the park as early as 4pm with just the party ticket. They will give you a wristband so that they know you are to be there after 6pm. If you are in the park all day you can exchange your party ticket for a wristband, with the CM's at the Main Entrance (or in the hub...the center section in front of the castle) anytime after 4pm. At 6pm, when the park closes to day guests they will send everyone that has a wristband to Fantasyland (or Tomorrowland...it is usually one or the other and the rides will be open for you) until the park is cleared of day guests (or 7pm what ever comes first). That way they do not have to close the park, clear it and reopen it... it is easier for the CM's at the bag check and front entrance and it is easier for you as the guest.
