Sold out!

I couldn't believe it when I saw it! Is this the first sold out party? If so, how many people will be in the park? I think I read somewhere that it will be around 25,000 people!

At least we're there, but still - it really sucks!

Has anyone ever been to a sold out MVMCP? If you have, what is your experience with it? Was it okay, or too crowded to move?

TIA

I saw that too!! :scared1: That is also the day we are going. I was SO BUMMED when I just saw this. THE ONLY SOLD OUT PARTY!!! :crowded: Will it be unbearable? You can look for my group of 8...we'll have the red sweatshirts w/ blinking lights on them. Maybe it will be alot of people who will leave after the early parade! ::yes:: We can only hope.

When I went in 2003, my night was sold out.. It really wasn't TOO bad but then again it was my 1st time ever to WDW so my be I was kinda overwhelmed

There was another sold out party this year.. I'm thinking 11/17.

If you look real close at this sign you can see a red "line" through the 17 that says SOLD OUT.

We are going to our 2nd party on 12/18, I hope being a Monday night that it will be a little lighter in crowds- but the local schools (at least Orange Cty start winter break that day, so it's possible there might be more locals)

We picked the Polynesian basically so when it hits midnight and we are kicked out of the park, we will just be able to hop on the monorail and get off at the hotel. And hopefully around midnight the crowds will be lower - we're definitly staying until the end.

It really does suck though! The only night! Not even the Christmas Day Parade day sold out (dec. 1/06). Really strange!

Shoot, that's the night we are going too. (also the 18th)

We're going to MVMCP that night too! :thumbsup2 Don't worry about the crowds. We just went to two sold out MNSSHP, including Halloween night, and it was manageable. Most rides were a walk on. The second parade really is less crowded than the first, so try to plan for that. Make sure you get to your preferred HolidayWishes viewing spot about 20 minutes before it starts, and you should be fine! I hope everyone has a great time!!!

Happy Holidays!

We live in Orlando, but for MNSSHP on 10/12 we did had a room at the Poly for the one night. It was so nice when we were ready to go back to our room after the late parade we just caught the boat, and headed back to the Poly. It was great - not having to deal with the monorail, or parking lot tram crowds and then driving the 35 min home.

We are going to our second on on the 18th too! I can't wait - we didn't cover much ground during the first one- my Dsis was visiting and not really feeling well. We had great parade seats & got DDs pic with Belle and Beast so those things are out of the way!

We are meeting a DIS family from the UK that we have gotten to know through emails for that party - eating at LTT at 4:15. We are so excited to finally meet!

I'm going on the 15th too - Crowds? What Crowds? - As long as Mickey's there - I'm Good!

I am so excited :cool1:
