MVMCP Celebs?

I was listening to an old podcast which aired just after the gang had attended a MVMCP (perhaps in 2007? or maybe 2006?). Anyway, the crew went to this party the day before the filming of the Christmas parade with Regis and Kelly and they mentioned that there were some celebs at the party (and that it was a smidge crowded). Can anyone confirm this?

I ask because I might consider going this year that very night if I might see a celeb or two.

I have been to MVMCP twice and I have never seen a celebrity who wasn't already on the bill. A couple of mice, a couple of dogs, a duck, some chipmunks and some girls who married well. No others. It is possible the celebrities were there because they had to be at the filming of the Christmas Parade the next day. So if you want to go to the party to see celebrities other than the types mentioned above, go the night before they tape the parade. This year that would probably be the night of December 5th.

That's what I was thinking too ... that the celebs they saw were part of the parade the next day. I guess I was just wondering if most of the celebs go the night before - if that is part of the tradition or something?
