MVMCP - Can we get a pic with Mickey in holiday outfit?

For those of you who have been to MVMCP, is it possible to get a photo with Mickey in his holiday outfit? The park map for the event shows 6 character locations. We haven't been to MVMCP in a few years...is Cinderella's coach still on display behind the castle? Is that where the Princesses are for photo ops?

Any advice on when and where to get the best character photo ops is greatly appreciated. We have twin 10-month-olds, so I'm not sure how late they will last and still be in good moods. We'd love to get a picture of them with Holiday Mickey & Minnie for their Christmas photo-card.

I know the coach was not on display, but I'm not sure about the pictures. We didn't try to get the pictures, but the only one that I remember was Donald in Fantasyland. He was standing in front of a "Christmas Tree Farm" - very cute. The only other location I remember seeing was down by Peter Pan. I think it was a Princess, but she wasn't out when we went by. The rest of them I really can't remember. I know that doesn't help much, but good luck!

I just got back from WDW. While we didn't do MVMCP, we got a pic of Mickey in a holiday outfit at MGM in front of that hat. There were a ton of other character there in holiday outfits too, such as: Lilo and Stitch, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Minnie, Pooh and friends, and others I am forgetting right now.

You can see Mickey and Minnie in their holiday attire in the Hall of Fame at Toontown, along with Cindy, Charming, and Aurora and Phillip. They alternate each half hour. Belle and Beast and Snow and her Prince also alternate on the half hours over at the old Skyway station in Fantasyland.

On Sun the 4th we took the back path from SM to Toontown at exactly 7 - after eating at Cosmic Rays (you have to enter a bit before 6 as they start turning people away at the door at about 5 till), having our pic taken at the Timekeeper and riding Buzz right after. When we got to Toontown there was absolutely no one there - we laughed that it must not be open yet - Mickey's house was open, but the barn out back where he usually is was closed. We went into the Hall of Fame and only Minnie's picture was up on the line (pooh characters were in the other line)- I asked where I could find Mickey and CM said only Minnie was there (and mentioned that she couldn't tell me who else might be there - always that 'if they change out the characters before you get there, you will be upset with us' ) - we walked right in with another couple and had Minnie, Mickey and Daisy (all in their holiday outfits) all to ourselves! We got great pics and that was just what I wanted, too, Mickey in his holiday clothes and us in our blinking Santa hats !

we went to MVMCP last year (2004) and couldn't find Mickey! I didn't think toontown was open last year (but I could be wrong). We were so sad because our dd3 loves horses and we had heard that Cinderella's carriage was behind the Castle and it wasn't-- Just Aurora and her prince... not as good as all the horses!

Thanks so much for this tip! We got the twins dressed in their holiday best and went to MGM. First, we got a picture with Minnie and Goofy. Minnie was in her holiday outfit and Goofy was dressed as Santa. Then we got one with Chip & Dale. Later, we were pleasantly surprised to find Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale together in front of the hat. We got a great picture of the kids with all of them together, and that will be their Christmas card! I ordered them on Friday, and I can't wait for them to arrive! Thanks again for the tip...you made their holiday card possible, and saved us the expense and headache of MVMCP. I would've loved to take them to MVMCP, but I think they're too young right now, and I only would've gone for the photo op, and probably waited in huge lines. But thanks to your tip, we got a great holiday photo at MGM!

They also wear really cute holiday outfits at Camp Minnie Mickey in AK. Santa Goofy is there too and the lines were really short. We always go right after a Lion King show starts.

what great ideas! I want to do my card next year from Disney and I am scouting out potential locations already. I still may have to use the Castle though since itis my Favorite!
