Last night I attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Originally we were supposed to be there on 12/14. We did go that night but it poured. We turned in our tickets and wristbands and we were given tickets for the 12/18 party.
We entered the park at 4:00. We ate and watched Wishes. Around 6:30 we decided to take a walk down Main Street to see the decorations and take some pictures. Well, people were already sitting for the parade. It looked as though most of the curb was filled. We decided that we should find a spot and sit and wait.
Around 7:00 it started to "snow". Herds of people were coming down Main Street. Anybody not attending the party were supposed to be out of the park at 7:00. People were still leaving at 8:00. They were enjoying the snow, trying to sneak in to watch the parade, and taking pictures. I also saw people with no wristbands drinking the free hot chocolate. While waiting for the parade, wristbands were only checked once. And for the rest of the night I never saw another wristband check for anything.
The parade was great. So were the fireworks. We also got to see Belle and Beast, Mickey and Minnie, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, Scrooge, and the penguins from Mary Poppins. We also attended both dance parties where we saw Pinocchio, Gepetto, Foulfellow, Gideon, Suzy, Perla, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, Mad Hatter, Pluto, Chip, and Dale.
I enjoyed the party. We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted though. I really didn't like the way they cleared out the park this year. I'd much rather that they get everybody out at 6:00 then reopen at 7:00.

Mind if I save some of yours?
