I just found a website where they listed the must sees for each park in their opinion. Best rides/attractions. So if you were advising someone what would you say?

It would totally depend on who was going and their ages/interests. Our favorites are:

MK - BTMRR, Mickeys Philharmagic, Splash Mtn, Spectro and Wishes
Epcot - Soarin, Test Track, Kidcot Stops
DHS - Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Fantasmic
AK - Safari, FOTLK

I agree, it does depend on the ages, our children are 8 and 11, and the last couple years our favorites are:

Epcot-- Soarin' and Test Track and doing the passports at the World Showcase, Spaceship Earth (now that it has been redone), Ellen's Energy Adventure

Magic Kingdom--Big Thunder Mountain, Mickey's Philharmonic, Monsters Inc, Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion

Animal Kingdom- It's Tough to be a Bug, my children love the bone yard, Everest, Kilimingaro Safari, Kali Rapids (you do get pretty wet though!), Dinosaur

Hollywood Studios-The Great Movie Ride, Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roll Rollercoaster, Indiana Jones Stunt Show

Have a great first trip! You will be hooked like the rest of us!!

The Great And Awesomer SuperGrover's WDW Must Sees:

Magic Kingdom:

PhilharMagic

Pooh

Carosuell of Progress

and (my favorite), Tomorrowland Transit Authority

Epcot

Imagination

The Seas w/ Nemo

Spaceship Earth

The American Adventure (film)

Canada (film)

France (film)

France (Pastries)

Hollywood Studios:

The Big Pin Store In The Hat

Toy Story Midway Mania

MUPPET VISION 3D

Animal Kingdom:

Finding Nemo: The Musical

You must see the Nemo musical, the Muppet show, and the TTA. Those three things alone are worth your ticket, your hotel, and any meal you might have combined!

I dont like the question because my first answer is everything. Now I do not claim to have ridden every ride, seen every show, etc in every Disney park. There are a few (very few) that just dont appeal to me personally. If someone told me I could only experience five attractions in a park, I would say I would rather not bother to go until I could enjoy it. There are so many attractions, big and small, that are worthwhile. Some of the less impressive, less popular attractions are some of my favorites because they are just part of the magic of Disney for me. When I go to Disney the plan is to see all (that I choose to) of the attractions. I have generally found the time to complete my plan. I have only occasionally had to drop one or two attractions from a particular park on a particular day. That is a successful trip to me. Some people enjoy a trip with fewer attractions enjoyed--I am there to enjoy the attractions (rides and shows). They are ALL must sees to me, unless I have chosen to skip a particular one for that day or perhaps that trip.
