Yikes! I'm not sure I can afford a Coach purse and wallet, unless I outlet shop. She has the jacket, Ipod touch and a relatively new phone. I know she would like a laptop, but don't think it's in the budget for this year.

Need more ideas. Anyone?

oh wow, i hope DD13 doesn't ask for any of that stuff, lol, it's all out of our price range. she already has a new desktop computer, nintendo DS, an mp3 player, new digital camera, new cell phone and a tv with a combo dvd/vcr player in her room. i honestly don't know what to buy her for Christmas. i've got her a VB purse and a storage case for nintendo DS games as a stocking stuffer....that's it at this point. ideas, please!

I got some for my dd. HSN had a buy 1 get 1 free sale on it, not sure if its still going on. She wasn't asking for them, but I know she will love them.

My dd's list so far is Uggs, clothes from abercrombie, an e-reader, and she mentioned a video camera a month ago but I think she would rather the e-reader so she isn't getting it.
I got her a Coach purse at the outlet, it was on clearance and they were giving away 20% off coupons, it was very reasonable.
I am done shopping for her and got great deals on everything on her list so I didn't spend nearly as much as I could have.

My DD14 had to have this last year. I actually found the blonde one (that's the one she likes) at Ross. Walmart had them last year on Black Friday. It was a gift set of 3 small ones for $20 (orig.$30). I happened to find 6 sets after Christmas at 75% off. She gave them as birthday gifts to her friends during the year.

As to the OP. I'm not sure. My daughter has kind of moved away from the trends. She mostly just wants GCs so she can buy movies and music.

American Express has a PASS prepaid debit card thing. If you sign up for it and load it with $25 and then reload it before the end of Nov (I think) they will add another $50 to it. So for $50 you will end up with a $100 GC. There is normally a $3.95/month fee, but it is waved til Oct. 2011.

No problem. I thought it was pretty decent too.

I did want to add that it says it takes 4-6 weeks to add the bonus after you reload it. So I plan to reload mine as soon as they come, and hope it gets on there before Christmas.

Also, don't forget to call and cancel it after she uses it up. Otherwise they will start charging you the 3.95/month starting next Oct.

Not a fashion gift, and not even something that my DD asked for, but what Santa will bring along with her other things she wants is a Sony Bloggie Camera. DD loves to make a ton of video clips/picture blogs with her friends and she is always running out of memory on her cards. Someone suggested this camera, as it plugs directly into the computer (?) and is meant for video and blogging.

Thanks for that AMEX tip, DD12 has been told she gets $200 for Xmas this year and to choose wisely, this gets her $50 for free.

She hasn't mentioned anything that is all the rage cloths wise, she kinda does her own thing style wise. When it was time for back to school shopping all she wanted was jeans 2 t-shirts and her hair done in purple and pink and orange it's this layer thing that's still about half blond. I just ordered 3 of these for my kids...I used the PASS50 code but I didn't see anything that reflected the promotion. Should I have?
