Hello! I am new here! I am very excited to have found this site! I am going to Disney World at the end of March. What are some 'Must Do' things that I should make sure to do while I am there? Please list favorite things that you love doing while you are there! Thanks!

:cheer2: :cheer2:

This is a great question! I am going for the first time at the end of April, and although I know I cannot get it all done in 5 days, I'd love to know what some of the "must do's" are! thanks for asking this!

Well for obvious starters Magic Kingdom(MK). Fantasmic at MGM, Mickey's Philharmagic At MK. Wishes and Spectromagic at MK. If you like roller coasters there's Space Mountain(MK), Rockin' roller coaster(MGM). Thoses are just a few things. I'm sure you'll get more idea's.

What is your age, sex, and tolerance of being tumbled, spun and flung of yourself and all those attending with you?

Are you more of a romantic, or a thrill seeker? Did you grow up watching Disney TV and Movies?

What are your hobbies and interests?

All of this will help Dizvets to guide you better.

My main suggestion to you would be what you need to do before you leave home...like NOW. If you haven't already, make your ADR. You will regret it if you don't.

Now, I can not think of one single most importnat thing that we HAVE to do...
so here are a few things we love:
Magic Kingdom:
Breakfast with Pooh & the Gang @ CP
Getting in the park early to get GREAT shots of the castle.
SPACE MOUNTIAN
Buzz Lightyear
MGM:
Lunch @ Sci Fi Dine in theater
Dinner @ 50's Prime time cafe
Tower of Terror
Rock N Rollercoster
Epcot:
Gotta go in the Golf ball... :rotfl:
Test Track
Soarin
Mission Space
Animal Kingdom:
New this year...EE...Must do for us!
It's a Bug's Life (In the tree)

I am sure there are a bunch of things I have over looked even on my own list, but these are the things I enjoy...my DH would tell you something else.
Make time to view at least one of the parks closing fireworks shows, more if you can...they are better than any show you have seen before.

If your staying at a Disney resort...enjoy that as well. It's Dinsney...enjoy everything!

I like the list you just put together, but at AK you must go on the African Safari. A must do no matter who you are

A must do that is always on our list : Relax and have Fun!!! There is no way to see/experience all that Disney has to offer in a few days. There are a lot of tips and suggestions that will help you see more. The are many many people on these boards that can and do help! :thumbsup2 I have also purchased The Unoffical Guide to Disney, The Passporter, and have sign up for Tour Guide Mike.

Congrats on your first trip! pixiedust:

Yes, I agree a first timer should do this...sorry I missed that one. That is something that we have done twice and we will do again just make sure to go early or get a fast pass!

Ours is going to be to ride EE we were on the safari ride in 2004 when we found out about it both my kids turned around looked at me and said cool we have to come back! I looked over at DH and the look on his face was priceless :rotfl2:

Enjoy all the elements around you, it is important to rememberto stop and enjoy the scents and sights throughout the park, the little things such as main street windows are some of the most interesting. Also at Haunted Mansion(MK) ask a Cast Member the story behind the mansion.

Thank you to everyone who added such great ideas to this list! I leave tomorrow! I am so excited! This is a very much needed trip! I will be sure to do as many things on the list as possible! Thank you . Thank you . Thank you!

My must-dos might not be for everyone:

Pirates of the Caribbean
It's A Small World
Haunted Mansion
Philharmagic
Spaceship Earth (Epcot)

If I don't see those attractions, I haven't been to Disney. I used to love "Carousel of Progress", but only because I remember riding it as a kid at the 1964 World's Fair.

all are great so far...how about some shopping at Downtown Disney ;)!!! maybe a meal in the castle... Cinderellas Royal Table....gets mixed reviews but we've heard so much about it, we've got to try it..and Jiko @ AKL...

Everyone else has said it but in needs to be said again, Call ahead and make Dinner reservations.

For my family we love to start the day with a character breakfast. It starts off the day in a disney magical way, and it feels us up until supper time.

These are great restraunts that most families would enjoy.
MK: Liberty Tree Tavern: Character meal
Crystal Palace: Character meal :tigger: great for breakfast and to eat with the 100 acre wood crew.

MGM: Sci-Fi Dine in Theater is awesome and a family favorite.

Other great places to eat: Artist point at WL, 1900 Park Fare, Rain Forest Cafe at DD.

AS for the attractions their are to many to mention, But my favorite by park:

MK: Pirates of the Caribean (Almost never a line) pirate:
Jungle cruise :sail:
***My Favorite is Splash Mountain!
Peter Pan's magic flight

Epcot: Soarin, Test Track, Cranium Command, The best thing about Epcot is the shopping at the world showcase

MGM: Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercoaster, Muppet Vision 3-D,

It's all so much fun, and I hope you and your family have a great time.
