I know it’s early, it we hope to visit at the end of November this year....any restaurants typically have a special holiday themed meal? Characters in holiday attire or anything of that nature that you expect?

End of November = Thanksgiving? If so, the Thanksgiving buffet at the DLH is a classic. Reservations go quick, so be ready to get on the phone at 60 days out and to pay in full. There will be Thanksgiving meals at the other hotels, too. The Disney Parks Blog will post something about all the holiday dining at the hotels, in the parks, and in DTD. You can probably find something on Google about past year's posts. The Jazz Kitchen in DTD usually carries their Thanksgiving special menu for the whole weekend, not just the Thursday. For CS, Paradise Garden Grill should have the Viva Navidad menu, which usually is pretty tasty. Napa Rose generally starts theming the Vintner's Menu toward winter and holiday-ish items since that menu changes weekly. I think goose showed up on the Vintner's Menu toward the end of last year.
There is a Holiday Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55 during that time period. That is very popular and reservations go fast! The WOC Dessert Party will have holiday themed goodies during that season, too. And there will be plenty of holiday treats and special goodies available throughout the parks during Holiday Time. The Parks Blog will have a post on those items closer to the holiday season.
