Must-Do Fast Passes

Hi - what are your must do fast passes? The rides you typically try to get a fast pass for in DCA and DL. Thanks!

In DL its Space, Indy, and Star Tours. We plan those ones out and thats the only way we end up riding those rides usually. When its not super busy we will try and get a 2nd FP for those if we can. But during times when its super busy (week between xmas and new years) we were only able to get one FP for each of those each day because they went so fast. We use FP for BTMRR as well but those last a long time and often have a return time that isnt too far off from when you get them.

In DCA you have to plan out getting the FP for RSR as those still run out after a few hours. The 2nd fastest FP in DCA is Soarin.

I second every thing here expect replacing Star Tours with Splash mountain is our personal preference!!

If there is single rider for the ride we might use the FP option a little different.
For Splash and Indy the SR option is sometimes better than FP in our experience.

DL - Space Mountain and Indiana Jones, almost always. Splash, if it's hot. Big Thunder and Star Tours, if we feel like it and there aren't others we need or if the crowds are insane. We usually get a fast pass for Space at rope drop and then wait in the regular line right away so we end up riding it twice. It's our favorite.

DCA - Soarin (now that it's newly themed it's necessary), Grizzly River Run. We don't do RSR because we do single rider since we're always just with adults. Really looking forward to the TSMM fast pass - we've always wanted that!

Currently nothing is an FP or don't ride decision. There is no FP ride where the line is so long when the park opens that getting an FP is faster. It depends on what your priorities are and where you start.

Cars is number one by far. Also Soarin in DCA. Space mountain, Indiana Jones, and Star Tours at Disneyland are all rides I would NOT ride without a fastpass.

I second every thing here expect replacing Star Tours with Splash mountain is our personal preference!!

We always choose to do splash at the slower times when the lines are short. Like in the morning or later at night. But we avoid the hotter parts of the day because of the line. That lets us use our FP for rides where the lines stay long all the time.
