Music: What are you listening to??

Went to the Brighton Centre last night to see Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.
Jeff himself was the conductor and he is doing really well at 81.
Fantastic evening!!

Music Channel - Johnny Douglas' -- Catch a Falling Star

Does this version include Forever Autumn?

Just got a recumbent trainer of my own and trying to find the right beat.
Starting with Kool and the Gang:

Great song--early Kool and the Gang was very funky. This song, Jungle Boogie, Hollywood Swingin, etc. Like a lot of bands, they found they could make more $ going soft.

Sirius XM Turbo & Liquid Metal have been playing in my car constantly for the past year and a half so mostly tons of stuff from their playlists. Chaos Hour on Liquid Metal is always a blast to listen to whenever i catch it.

I'm also a huge live music fan - Just saw Killswitch Engage on Friday and next I'm going to see the Spiritbox, Machine Head, Trivium/BFMV & Devin Townsend tours in the coming month.🤘

There’s a PBS doc on the history of funk you might be interested in called “We Want the Funk”. Showed on Independent Lens and it’s also in full on YouTube.
Get on the good foot 😎

Spiritbox was amazing on Monday, next big arena band in heavy music!

We saw them open up for Ghost a couple of years ago. I thought they were pretty good. I really like her regular singing voice, but I’m not a fan of that death metal singing in general. It hurts my head. lol.
Courtney's range is insane - going from an ethereal & angelic singing voice to some of the sickest screams really sets Spiritbox apart from many bands right now.

Loathe & Dying Wish - Both of Spiritbox's openers on the current tour are some of the best hype bands in heavy music right now.
