I was hoping somebody here knows a lot about music. Hopefully I explained my problem well enough for you to understand. If not let me know and I will explain it better.

I need help bad. I need to create all sharp major scales in the bass cleff. I am having lots of trouble on this. I don't know much about the bass cleff. For example on this one bass cleff their is 4 sharp signs. What notes do I put on this? Please help me.

one line below the staff is a E#
G# is the bottom line on the staff
A# is the note in between the bottom and 2nd to bottom line on the staff
B# is on the 2nd to bottom line of the staff
C# is in between the 2nd and 3rd
D# is the middle line
E# is between middle and 2nd
F# is on the 2nd line
High G# is between 2nd and 1st
high A# is on the top line
High B# is right above the staff
High C# is 1 line above the staff
High D# is right above thr 1 line above the staff
High E # is 2 lines above staff

hope this helps, i know its kinda confusing, u can pm if me if you got any ?'s

I have major problems with those scales also. i cannot site read either.

Ooh!! A music question, how exciting!! Of course, considering how utterly useless I am at explaining things, this might not go well

So on the bass clef, C is where A would be on the treble clef (I'm guessing you understand the treble clef pretty well  ). Which means that all the notes are 2 below what they would be on the treble clef.

You can work out the key signature of a major scale by counting upwards. If it has 4 sharps, then it's E major, but you can work this out by counting up 5 notes each time (technically it's 7 semitones, but that just complicates things  ). So C major has no sharps, but you count up 5 to G major, which has 1 sharp, then another 5 to D major, which has 2 sharps, then A (3), E (4), B (5), F# (6), C# (7).

The sharps are always in the same order, F, C, G, D, A, E, B. So if a scale has 3 sharps, they'll be F, C and G, and if it had 5 sharps, they'd be F, C, G, D and A.

Are you confused now? Because I am. I'm hoping that made a slight bit of sense. If you have any more questions, just ask, I'd love to help :)

actually suzi that makes tons of sense lol

If you need any more help, let me know...I'm majoring in music, so I might be able to hep you with some things...
Good Luck with your scales!
