Music by Pilot Grill/Soarin ?

Just got back from our first Disneyland trip! Everytime we walked by Soarin and The Pilot's Grill we heard music outside, I swear I have heard that music before in a movie, what movie was it from TIA!

This is SO true! We were singing "Big Rock Candy Mtn", and that "Sugar, Sugar" song all week!

Ahhh I think you may b right, I knew it was from a 80s movie but we couldnt put our finger on it

I know what you guys mean about singing the songs from the main entrance. Our last trip was in July and DD8 still walks around singing Sugar Sugar. LOL

I couldn't figure out what that was one either.....but DM nailed it!! Thanks DM!

A lot of the music is from "The Right Stuff", the first hour of which also provides the inspiration for the Condor Flats area. One of the tunes is "Jupiter", from Holst's "The Planets" and was also used in the movie, one of my favorites and I'm still ticked it didn't win Best Picture for 1983, but I digress...

"Jupiter" is my favorite of the entire medley. I heard it twice last week and I couldn't help but hum along. Then when I heard "Aquarius" on PP, I sang along to that too.
