I've just found out that my grandfather shot my grandmother and then himself this morning - please if you will offer up prayers to my family.

I'm trying to get to Colorado asap, please think of myself and my family as we try to get there in a timely manner.

Thank you.

Oh, what a terrible tragedy. I can't imagine your pain. Be safe as you travel. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry. Prayers for you & your loved ones.

agnes!

I returned home last night, and wanted to thank all of you that posted here to offer a prayer last week. Thank you so much, it was very appreciated.

I can't imagine the loss and confusion you and your family must be feeling, sending you lots of hugs and prayers. I hope you will all find peace.

I am so sorry! I will pray for you and your family for a long time. How sad!

Just wanted to thank everyone again for the prayers and kind words.

My grandfather had had a series of strokes, in addition to an in-operable non-cancerous brain tumor. These damages resulted in him not being . . . all there, I guess you'd say. My grandmother, while not in the best of health physically, was still totally mentally competant.

The medical examiner believes that she had a stroke shortly before she died. The belief seems to be that she had a stroke, and my grandfather, not knowing enough to call 911, did what he thought was for the best.

As a family, we knew that it was not something that was done out of anger or in the heat of the moment - but strange as it sounds, possibly out of love.

Just wanted to post here again, thanking everyone for reaching out to a stranger. My family is still struggling with the events, in addition to my father's recent cancer diagnosis, but we're trying to stay as positive as possible.

Thank you again.
