Ive been working on getting our FP booked and is there something up with the muppets at DHS

Ive checked serveral times a day and I keep getting the message that there are no more FP but stand by is available

Ive never seen it where you couldnt get a FP for this

also Im planning on flipping our MK and AK days

all of our FP I can change for the 2 days but what is the best way of doing this

Im always so worried Im going to mess something up

thanks all

Those booking FPs use Muppets as a “tap and go” FPs to speed up their ability to book another Tier 1.

Muppets is basically a throwaway on the way to FP#4.

It's the least bad option of many terrible options. Most of the other tier 2 FPs are more of a commitment that will knock a chunk out of your day. 30 wait before the show with your fastpass window. Nearly 30 minute show. It's just an evil scheme to keep you out of line for rides at TSL or SWGE.

I'm ready to riot.

The only reason to get a muppets fp is to burn a tier two. The only time it might actually save time is on the few shoulder-to-shoulder crowd days, like Christmas week. With nearly all rides being tier 1, it’s not surprising Muppets is booked. If you’re just trying to burn through your tier two’s,
get one for Frozen or the Dance Party, tap in, and leave without watching. No one needs a fp for those either. None of the tier two’s need a fp really, except Star Tours. Beauty and the Beast does give better seats though, but no seat is bad. Not sure about Frozen as I’ve never seen it. Indiana Jones fp places you closer to the center but again, not really any bad seats.

To change your MK and AK days, you’ll have to cancel the current before making new ones. Unless you have admission attached to someone not already booked for this trip, there’s no way for you to check what’s available without cancelling.

This is why HS needs to change FP tiers- at least add Aliens Swirling Saucers to tier 2, maybe ToT or RnRC to tier 2 again. I know they probably will need to rearrange ride tiers when Runaway Railway opens, but they need to make some adjustments now. It's crazy that so many FP reservations in HS are for "tap and go burner" fast passes.

it is not a throw away issue in late jan/feb - there is something unannounced going on because fast passes werent available my entire trip - even at 60+7. There is no way its use as a throw away was causing them all to be gone that far in advance

Yeah, there's a 99 post thread on WDW magic about it. No FPs from 1/25 - 2/7. Not clear if it's a yet-to-be-announced closure, or a trial run for dropping FP for the attraction altogether (DHS will be better off dropping a few shows from FP+ when MMRR+SWGE come online in the system), or a mistake.

Our TA got us FPs for Muppets, which we happen to enjoy, for Feb 10th

My trip is 1/24-2/1, and there were no FP's for Muppets available at any time for any day of the trip, from the moment I could log in for FP's. I hope that it's just that they're doing away with Muppets FP's, and not an as-yet-unannounced closure... As this will be my husband's first WDW trip, I was already sad about all the construction at Epcot, heartbroken over the train still being out of the picture, and absolutely gutted about Test Track being refurbed. I think I might cry if Muppets ends up being closed -- It's one of my favorites.

Just returned. We went to HS on 12-6-19. Busy since RotR just opened. Muppets was fullest it has been since I started going to HS several years ago. Still, you can get in with a show length (i.e., 10-15 minutes) wait with no problem.
