Mumps!

My ds has been diagnosed with a suspected case of the mumps, the doctors is awaiting a kit so he can do a swab to confirm, i really feel sorry for the poor little chap as he stongly resembles a hamster at the moment, this morning the preschool phoned to ask how he is and also to say they now have 2 other suspected cases in Ben's class and they have all had their MMR jab. Sods law neither myself or dh has had it so we are now anilysing every twinge, but i sent dh for an emergency mmr jab as my doctor advised that can prevent the worse symptoms even if he has already been infected, i just can't wait for this all to be over and life back to normal.

Sorry for moaning , i know there are alot of people alot worse off right now, i just hate being housebound
