Mummy...soft openings in March???

Screamscape announced that it has heard that USF may have soft openings for The Mummy as early as March!!! WooHoo! Time to plan that next trip! Well, maybe I'd better wait for something a little more definite than Screamscape

That would be great if it happens Damo! I plan on going again for Mardi Gras so March would work well! I loved being there for the Shrek AP preview and hope to do that for Mummy too. I want to collect all those grand opening pins. Thanks for the mention and I will be on the lookout for more info as it gets closer too.

Keep in mind that haven't even started testing, so problems which may arise can not be predicted. Don't plan trips quite yet around this, wait a few more months until more solid word comes out.

For Shrek they had an AP preview before the soft opening. By a few days to a week. But I think some people were treated to certain viewing times when they had the AP preview.

I hope they have an AP preview of the Mummy ride. I missed my oppurtunity to do Shrek early...that was before we decided to go to the parks more often (back when going once or twice a month was the limit...boy have things changed in the matter of a couple months!! ). Sounds like The Mummy will be great...I can't wait!!

By the end of the Christmas season the Mummy is likely to be the only topic of discussion here.
Hopefully someone can throw us a bone from time to time (i.e.- are crews 'round the clock? ; % completed ; etc.).

I really think Aksu-namun (Mummy's Ex) would make a great addition to the Macy Parade this year! (Not thet she has anything to do with Christmas, just throw a Santa cap on her at least)

Agree about more Mummy status reports.
Let IOA Central do construction updates. Forget the "keep it a surprise" thing. I hate that. It would be better to spill the beans so the fans up north will plan a trip and come down.

Really tho, with all the different characters they let march in Macy's (even Mardi stuff), why not break out your new rides' characters too.
Or are they already scheduled for HHN?
