I find Space Mountain extremely painful---to the point that I won't ride it anymore. I don't find Mummy painful at all. I don't think it is as intense as Space Mountain either, but it is more intense than BTMRR.
I think it's one of the scariest rides out there. Not from any drops, but from darkness and creepy mummies. It's like a roller coaster through hell,...,I love it!!! Wouldn't put a little kid on it though, lol
our youngest was 6 last time we went and was just shy of 48" so couldn't ride even after walking through the cue. He was "devastated" so we promised to wait until he was tall enough to ride everything before we went back. The other 2 loved it. I think it's my favorite ride at Universal....did I mention they are all boys lol that could be a factor in loving the creepiness

and not a kid lol.... I haven't been on space mountain in years but I was on thunder mountain this past June, so thats my frame of referencelol actually the chicken is meand not a kid lol.... If its too much faster than thunder mountain then its not for me as Thunder mountain is at the top of my chicken self tolerance level lol
