Ever since Jess posted a pic of this WAY back there in the DCP TR, I have been MEANING to do moi's cupcakes like Disney. Meaning the filling. But I just haven't been baking cupcakes wh0t.

So sorry to hear about Figaro and glad to hear that Meeko is settling in more!

Your view was amazing! Kind of like when we booked a standard view at AKL. They said we ended up with a partial view of the savanna and may see a few animals but not often. Well we ended up right next to the area where they keep the animals at night and where they feed them, so we woke up every morning to the animals being released and got to see plenty of animals mere feet away from us! It was breathtaking!!

It was really nice of your friends to drive your truck for you all the way to Florida and to help you move! I would have taken them to get as much Ice Cream as they wanted with out calling them names or being grumpy about it. It seems to me they really really went out of their way for you.

I love following your reports and am excited to read this one about your new life in Florida. I just wish you weren't so negative in them especially about people who help you and do nice things for you!

I have to agree with this. I think you are an excellent writer and have so much potential. But....you do come off as being negative sometimes. You have to remember that there are complete strangers reading your report who don't know the back story of the people you don't care for (like the ice cream people). So when we read stuff like that it just makes us go . The negative comments don't really add to the story anyway.

When people like Rosiekins and myself (and others too) try to point this out to you, please take it as constructive criticism. We love your trip reports and want to continue to see your writing and story telling skills improve.

August 4th (part 3): A very monumental moment for moi

We headed into the Enchanted Forest and kind of just breezed right through, but we stopped to watch Gaston for a second. I was really sad because the line JUST closed. Always happens to moi. Always.

But here are a few pics for y’all to enjoy.

I am in love with the castle walls. They are just perfect.

We went into Hundred Acre Goods—HAHHAHAHA THAT IS FUNNY—to look at Pooh stuff and it is turning into the Phineas and Ferb/random Disney merch dump shop. Seriously, WHERE THE CRAP DID THE POOH MERCH GO?! They have like nothing in there that is Pooh related. I swear to God half of the store is those two stupid idiots who have like 5 years of summer vacation. When do they ever go back to school?!?!? I don’t see how they are Pooh related at all.

And it is like half-The Confectionary.

Ridiculous.

ANYWAYS…..

Next we went into Castle Couture to look around.

HI PRETTY CASTLE.

I walked into Castle Couture and a CM came up to moi and asked if my bow was from Magical Ribbons (it’s not), so we talked about bows, Disney, and all of that fun stuff. I LOVE CMS.

After that, we headed down to the Tangled Toilets because I had to pee. Yes, I KNOW there are like 5 bathrooms that are closer, but, um, it was necessary to go to Punzie’s Pee Pee Station. And it was my first time peeing in them so it was a monumental moment! I promise I didn’t capture it……

I wrote in my journal “I peed in the Tangled Toilets. It was awesome.”

August 4th (part 4): Exploring like 3 lands in one chapter

We headed into Frontierland and the Hoedown was going on, where “limited time magic” characters appear. Stupid.

Horace was gettin’ down.

We went into the Mercantile and pin trading Duffy was out! If you haven’t seen him, he is a pooh sized Duffy wearing a jacket that is covered with pins, aka HEAVEN ON EARTH. So I pin traded with him and then bought two pins. I think an AK15 one and the Poly one I had been looking for everywhere before.

Back outside, Big Al was trying to be different statues, before a crowd chased after him. I’m not kidding.

We headed over to BTMR and got FPs for later.

Why hello there big white bird!

I pin traded with a DVC guy and we talked to him for a while, which happened like 500 times during this trip. Seriously.

We strolled back into Fantasyland and got a drink at Pinocchio’s and sat by the windows that overlook IASW and waved to everyone that actually waved, because some looked like they were at Universal and were having no fun whatsoever.

Anyways, next we went into some store and got some pixie dust. Mum even got some, which is a shocker! Don’t want to mess up that beautiful hair of hers!

Obsessed.

We had about 30 minutes or so to spare before it was time to use our FPs so we headed back into Frontierland to look around BUT MORE PICS FIRST of the best toilets EVAH. I’m sure y’all are sick of these by now. You are very welcome.

The perfection tho.

August 4th (part 5): Moi is reunited with heaven and like a lot of pics

We had a few minutes to kill before going on BTMR so we stood around and took crazy pics, cause that is what we do.

The FP line for BTMR was NUTS. I don’t know what was up, but it was crazy. I mean, we only a waited a few minutes, but people were everywhere and the CM didn’t do a good job of keeping the line organized.

I wanted to take ride pics, so that is what I did.

Note: No cameras were harmed in the taking of these pictures

All of my other ones came out like really blurry or they were WAY too focused on the people’s heads in front of us.

After we got off the wildest ride in the wilderness, we headed over to Main Street because I was having such a craving for corn dog nuggets. Like, I NEEDED THEM RIGHT THEN.

We got to Casey’s and ordered heaven and got a plain ol’ hot dog to split, even though they have been crappy the two times we have had them before. Third time’s a charm, right?!

Yeah, not so much.

I mean, it was better than they usually are (since we always get them during parade time) but not by much. Thank god for corn dog nuggets!

After we ate, I pin traded and then we browsed around for a bit on Main St.

I bought a ring in one of the stores and then we went into the Art of Disney store. I saw this screen kinda near the registers and went up to it. Now, I have noticed this before, but never actually took a look. It is called Art on Demand and I never knew you could do this. They have HUNDREDS of different prints you can order and then they ship them to your house. You can have them framed if you want too! I was dying over so many and I finally settled on a Mary Blair print that I have always loved. I was gonna go with a Shag print but I already have one from him, and if I really wanted, I can go back and get it anytime. And the print was pretty cheap! I didn’t have it framed or anything, though. I think it was like $22. You do have to pay for shipping but I got an AP discount so that took some money off. The CM said it would take about 2-3 weeks but I just got it today!

After I bought my print, we headed towards to Tomorrowland to take a spin on the TTA.

I did like no photoshopping to this whatsoever. The sunset was this beautiful that night.

After the TTA, we looked in the shops around Tommorowland, whose names are leaving my brain as I type this.

I found this hat in one of them. And OF COURSE it is made for little dudettes. WHAT ELSE IS NEW.

Back out into Tomorrowland…

And that's Meg's choice to not include that. And the ice cream eaters were "hired" for a job and they were (in my opinion) compensated handsomely for said services rendered (info that I have). Now yeah, taking someone for some ice cream may not seem like a big deal when they just drove a truck full of your stuff some 1,200 miles...BUT at the same time...Meg and her Mum just left their entire life in MA, and ALSO travelled some 1,200 miles, and bought a house, (and now have to find Mum a job ). What if that was you? Wouldn't you just want to start to get settled in your new home and unpack and unwind a little? And in Meg's case she also had to get ready for DISNEY! If it was me, I wouldn't wanna have to spend MORE time in the car making an additional trip for ice cream...

Some people treat their TRs as a diary of this time in their life, and some people just write it as that.

August 4th (part 6): Desserts, fireworks, and a COCKROACH

We got in line to check in for the dessert party!

I was very excited as it was our first time doing this, but I was just hoping we would get a good table. It is standing room only once Wishes starts, but I like to be up front, as I have mentioned before. So I wanted to get a running start (even if our table was right up front) so I could get some good pics, cause that is most important.

We really didn’t know how the whole thing worked, seating wise. I was expecting it to be whoever made an ADR first got a better table, which is how it is.

I got the ADR an hour after they opened. Let’s just say I almost hurt myself because I was lookin’ like a fool with my pants on the ground and pretty much tripped.

OK WE ARENT GETTING INTO THAT RIGHT NOW. LETS MOVE ONTO DESSERTS.OK? OK.

It all worked out in the end because WE WERE RIGHT UP FRONT. You’re welcome, Mum.

That’s our last name, I swear.

So let’s get to the desserts, cause that is what’s most important here.

Thoughts on desserts: I really liked a lot of them, but some were not for moi. Some looked good, but they didn’t taste good, but for the most part, everything was great. Some of my favorites included the HEAVENLY chocolate covered strawberries, cannolis, the peanut butter tarts, and the mango thing, which is on the front of my second plate. You drank it out of the straw and it was good. It was sort of like a smoothie thing. Mum was not a fan though, since she doesn’t like mango.

And here are some pics of the whole dessert buffet.

They had a lot to choose from and they also had tea, coffee, yucky Florida water that makes you weird, lemonade, iced tea, and milk.

So how it worked (if you haven’t been) is that you get checked in, and then you can go up for dessert as many times as you want and then once Celebrate the Magic starts, a lot of people start standing up to get a spot for Wishes. And then once Wishes starts, everyone gets up. The spot isn’t prime viewing, but it is a great spot. I can think of better places to watch from but it’s cool to watch from a different view.

We slowly made our way out of MK because of the ridiculous crowds. That was a lot of fun and I got run over by a stroller like 3 times. Tip: try to go through the Emporium after the fireworks. You can go all the way down Main St and there are a lot of people in there, but nowhere near the amount on Main St.

We got on the resort monorail, which was amazing. I love staying at resort monorails ♥

The Contemporary was the first stop (like always) so we got off and I did a little pin trading and then we headed up to our room.

Mum was in the bathroom getting ready for bed and I was out on the porch because um VIEW and I heard screaming.

I went inside and Mum was like “KLAHJKBFKJLBWJKRGJ COCKROACH!!!!!!!”

I may or may not have left the porch door a tad bit open while we were at MK….

The stupid cockroach was on top of the bathroom door and just stayed there for like an hour. You could see its little antennas and it was just gross. Yeah, I know y’all are like “then why the crap did you move to Florida?” I don’t know, OKKKK.

So Mum wouldn’t kill the cockroach and I wouldn’t either, so Mum called down to the “front desk,” which isn’t the front desk really. They transfer you to like a main office and you tell them your problem. And you talk to stupid CMs.

So this is what the CM told us.

“Well I can send someone up now, but it might be awhile.”

And how does that make sense…?

Mum called at 11. And like every 5 minutes, she would say “Go see it its still there!” So I would go over, see the little antennas, and then run away like a little girl, screaming.

So at about 12, Mum is like “FORGET THIS!” and was just gonna leave to go tell the front desk and the guy FINALLY shows up. He took this like sticky piece of paper and stuck it to the cockroach. PEACE OUT COCKROACH!

It was fun to say the least.

Then we could fall asleep peacefully, thank God.​
