July 1st (part 7): The worst parade in the history of parades

After that, we headed towards New Fantasyland because I needed food, like always.

We went to Gaston’s Tavern and I got a CHOCOLATE CROISSANT AKA HEAVEN ON EARTH and a cup of Le Fou’s Brew without the souvenir mug cause I didn’t exactly NEED it. But I do want it…

Le Fou’s Brew is SO much better in the summer. Seriously, that stuff is DELICIOUS.

After I came back from Heaven, we made our way to crowded Main St. That was fun…

I really wanted to watch the fireworks from the train station so we headed up there and we couldn’t get a front row spot, which I was fine with, but I like my front row. I am a front row snob and I don’t do well with being second row and beyond. Yes, it is only a few feet, but does second row get sweaty towels from their second favorite band OR get sung to OR get their face pushed into a leader singer’s stomach (that happened to my friend and I witnessed it) OR being so close that you can touch the stage?! I DON’T THINK SO. Ok, that never has happened in Disney but I have had many experiences at concerts and I could keep going on. But do y’all see moi’s point?! You probably don’t but whatever. FIRST ROW IS BETTER THAN SECOND OKKKKKKKKK I’M DONE HERE.

MOVING ON NOW cause y’all are probably wondering what the crap I did with sweaty towels. I may or may not have them in my closet…….

OK BACK TO DISNEY.

SOOOOooooo, we got a spot and then some losers got behind us and I was like REALLY. I am only calling them losers because uh THEY HAD AN IPAD SO THAT QUALIFIES THEM AS LOSERS. And they were breathing on us and pushing us and dear god. Like GET AWAY.

Even though we had losers behind us, I was looking at this awesome view and I was cool with it.

MSEP got delayed and y’all should’ve heard everyone. They were like “AWWWWWW!” and I could have cared less.

But even though I cannot STAND that stupid parade, I took pictures because of reasons. So enjoy those while I cry because this parade stinks and I will never get to see Spectromagic ever again.

And that is all folks. I really don’t want to post more pics that I took of this awful parade. I’m sorry MSEP lovers, but that is my opinion. Just sayin’.

And then they made the announcement that Celebrate the Magic wouldn’t be happening that night—they did show it later though cause I could see it from the ferryboat—and everyone just LEFT. I think they thought that was the fireworks or something but I was like WHATEVAH. And people in front of us left SO YAYYYY.

And then it was time.

It will need a whole update just for pictures cause I took over 300. And I have no shame.

July 1st (part 8): CELEBRATE AMERICA!!!!

So since I may or may not have taken over 300 pictures of the fireworks, I will include my 25 best shots that I took even though I have SO many good ones. I’m sure you guys don’t want to sit through two updates filled with firework pictures. Even though your mind will be BLOWN. Seriously, this show was INCREDIBLE. I was so happy that they were showing Celebrate America for seven nights in a row. (The only perk of Limited Time Magic). So I was very excited to see these fireworks and they did NOT disappoint. So enjoy the ridiculous amount of pictures I took. You’re welcome.

But seriously, if y’all are at Disney around the 4th, GO SEE CELEBRATE AMERCIA. YOU KINDA HAVE TO. It’s a rule. No lie.

Since we were at the train station, we got out of the park first and headed straight to the ferryboat. It was pretty packed but we found a spot to sit, hallelujah.

We got to the TTC and headed to the tram. We had these obnoxious people around us and so four of them were in front of us so we didn’t think we would be able to fit so we waited for the next tram. Well all of a sudden these idiots that were with them came out of nowhere and pushed through our line to get on the tram even though there was no room. ITS NOT LIKE WE WERE WAITING OR ANYTHING.

We got on the next tram and of course, it was raining. We found our car and then headed back to our hotel, which was a pain in the butt since it was kinda far from Disney but whatevs. At least we got to go to the parks…​

I actually like MSEP - not as much as Spectro, but it's better than nothing. Was sad to hear that Spectro is permanently gone, though, given that a new day time parade is coming in 2014 I wouldn't be surprised to see an all new night time parade in 2015/16

I think it would be Spectro. The Spectro soundtrack is like 1000000x better then MSEP's.

July 2nd (part 1): Our lovely stroll through Epcot

We got up at 8 and got ready for the day and got all of our stuff together since we were checking out. While Mum got ready, I checked in for our flight and then I discovered my lens was broken.

I was using my 55-200mm lens for the firework pictures the night before and I had my 18-55mm lens in a black bag in my backpack. I needed something out of my backpack when we left MK and Mum went to grab it and my lens fell from my backpack because she didn’t see it cause it was in a black bag. So when I went to use it that morning, it made this HORRENDOUS sound when I went to focus on something. So I ended up buying a brand new one off of ebay. Every single time we go to Disney, something happens to my camera. It is just lovely.

We left the hotel at 9:30 and we were on our way to Epcot!

We got there at about 10:15.

THE LOVE.

We parked in Discover 12 and then took the very short tram ride to the turnstiles.

It was a breeze going through the turnstiles.

EEE.

First stop was Gateway Gifts because we thought it would just be easier to buy an umbrella and I fixed my We’re Celebrating! button since the sharpie always smudges.

We continued on into Future World to Club Cool because I wanted my beloved watermelon soda from China. Before breakfast. YOLO.

But first, the beauty of Epcot.

We were headed to World Showcase because we wanted breakfast and we really wanted to try the newly redone bakery in France!

I think this Mary Poppins topiary is new. Promo for Saving Mr. Banks perhaps?

The new Morocco restaurant.

Henry and moi will HAVE to go there! And speaking of my BFF, I NEVER GOT TO SEE HIM. We were almost done with our World Showcase loop when I flipped out and screamed “WE HAVE TO GO BACK!” but Mum said no. That lead to tears.

July 2nd (part 2): Our amazing breakfast in France and my 3rd fave princess

The bakery in France is all the way in the back of the pavilion so we made our way back there.

We walked in and I was blown away. It is SO nice in there. The seating area is on your left, a gift shop on your right and then the bakery is right ahead of you.

GET READY DUDES CAUSE IT IS FOOD PORN TIME!

Everything looked SO good. I wanted like one of each. #poohsized

Here is one of the menus (my other pic came out blurry, sorry).

And they bake all of the bread!

We ordered and then found a table.

I got the ham & cheese croissant sandwich. HOLY POOPS it was GOOD. I got it toasted so the cheese was all melty and UGH heaven. I don’t think it would be good if you didn’t get it toasted though.

Mum got the ham & cheese quiche and I tried a bite of it. It was AMAZING. So all in all, we had a fantastic late breakfast.

And note: these items have like really fancy French names that I cannot pronounce for the life of me. The only French word I know is moi. Let’s be real now.

After we finished eating, we checked out the gift shop and they had so many cute items with Minnie on it.

We headed outside to explore more of World Showcase.

Then I saw Belle and ran over to her like the five year old that I am.

And we were the last family in line so HOLLA!

I went up to her and portrayed Belle really well!

Belle looked at my pins and she said that Gaston loves to look at them because he can see his reflection. If that isn’t perfect, I don’t know what is.

Like always, I look awkward.

After my lovely meeting with Belle, we continued on and PASSED MOROCCO AND DIDN’T SEE HENRY GRRRR.

But Japan is nice too.

July 2nd (part 3): "This is what heaven smells like!"

We really didn’t stop anywhere in World Showcase until we got to Germany. It was just nice to take pictures and take in everything. And it wasn’t like we needed to rush. We could just take our time.

So enjoy the pictures!

OF COURSE, we went into Karamell Kuche. And then died.

I was excited because this was the first time I had been to WDW with no braces SO I GOT TO TRY THE CARAMEL POPCORN. Guys, that stuff is amazing. I basically ate the whole bag.

But, we saved that for later and got more snacks to eat right then. Even though we just ate. Like I care!

I got the caramel brownie and it was kinda dry, so I was a little disappointed.

Mum got her usual, and I cannot think of the name of it. I think it is called the apple caramel cookie or something like that. Go ask her.

When we were buying our stuff, some lady came in and was like “This is what heaven smells like!” I wanted to go up to her and be like “um can we be friends?”

We ate our snack outside and I got caramel everywhere. I’m a messy eater. Deal with it.

We continued on around the world, stopping at the African Outpost to look at the park map jewelry. We could make most of this stuff……

We passed China and then I pin traded with a CM right before NorVAY for a pooh pin that I wanted/needed. I gave him a Star Wars pin and he was like “I just love this one!” I said thank you and he was like “have a fantastic day!” We continued walking and Mum was like “That CM was totally checking you out!” Yeah, I don’t think so. I mean, maybe he was but I was more focused on my pin cause um

ANYWAYS…

We got into NorVAY and I was like “We should go on the Maelstrom!” in my southern-ish accent cause that’s how I roll. Most of the time.

There was only a 5 minute wait and I was so excited. I hadn’t been on the Maelstrom is like FOREVAH. I barely remembered any of it but it is like the greatest attraction in all of Disney so of course it was amazing.

And I may or may not have put my hands up and screamed when we went down the drop…

After the ride, Mum was like “We should see the movie!” Yeah, no. She said she just loved the movie and she wasn’t being sarcastic. It’s really too bad two seconds after we sat down, the movie ended…

Next stop was Mexico (duh) and we watched these dudes for like a minute since it started raining. WOOO HOOO! RAIN!

So we went inside cause I didn’t want to melt.

I think we looked around for a few and then Mum had to pee so we made our way back into the rain and across to the quick service since there is a restroom inside.

CAN I HAVE THIS PLEASE.

We came out of the bathroom and I was like “Is there a bird in here?!” No, I’m just dumb. It was outside.
