September 7th: Frozen Fiesta of Fun: On Ice

So I wasn’t even going to do this update but then I went through my pictures (all 300 of them…) and realized how crappy they came out overall. And the good thing about that is I only have to do one update! Works for me.

So this is Disney related so that is why I am doing this.

We went to go see Disney on Ice at the Amway Center in Orlando. And yes, it was the frozen one.

We got there, parked, and headed in. I am always worried they are going to say something about my camera because on the tickets, it says you cannot have a camera with a detachable lens. Hallelujah, they haven’t said anything in the two times we have been there. *knocks on wood*

So we got our tickets scanned and went up like 1000000 stairs to get to the main level.

We looked at the merchandise and all of that fun stuff.

A Disney on Ice staple.

Cause this is worth $15.

We went to our seats, which were in *insert section number here* (could’ve been like 116 or something idk) and the woman who is supposed to direct you to your seats was like “I think someone has these seats and they just sat down in them.” And then she just stood there.

Winning.

She was wrong of course. Good job, lady.

We were a little up. Not nose bleeds whatsoever, but we had this ridiculous glass wall in front of us. When I say wall, it was like 7-10 inches high so. And it was a pain for picture taking. I tried to prop myself up on my feet but I didn’t want to block the view for the people behind me (I am a nice person), so that’s probably why 95% of my pics came out like crap.

I shot manual for this. I didn’t want my AF light to go off and reflect off the glass. That’s probably why half of my pics aren’t so hot. Whatever.

Before the show actually started, these like 20 year olds came out and taught us the “Snowman Dance.” I don’t even know.

And then a bunch of random Disney characters came out and partied and skated around, including these two wonderful fellows.

And then my BBFs skated around and THEY LOOKED SO CUTE.

So basically, it was the whole story of Frozen. They left out a few parts like Oakens WHICH IS TOTAL CRAP BECAUSE YOO HOO FAMILY but we can’t have nice things. They even had trolls, and those costumes were awesome. But yeah, those pictures were awful.
I had heard on twitter that this show was total crap and very cheap, but I really liked it. All of the performers were awesome, even though they do lip sync everything, which I can understand. I mean, mainly it is just their ice skating tricks and such, which were awesome. I always enjoy watching them.

If Frozen Fiesta of Fun: On Ice is coming soon to your city, I would go and see it! Unless like tickets are $500, which yes, is legit.​

September 13th (part 1): It's casual. What else is new.

It is time to get down to business.

We ended up at SSR. Just casually, ya know. Not like we were staying there or anything.

The security guards were wonderful. They didn’t believe us that we were staying because we weren’t the ones checking in. I had to give them the room number and thank god there were two of them because one was a total idiot.

Thank GOD we were in the Springs. That’s all I have to say.

We headed up to our room and my Magic Band wouldn’t work. What else is new. Thank God Mum’s did.

So here. Have some pictures of our studio.

I got some stuff together to bring to the park and we headed to the bus stop.

A MK bus arrived and pretty soon, I was marching in my seat to the Mickey Mouse Club March like the cool cat I am.

We headed on in and CASUALLY bumped into my twin. It was so weird.

We hugged, cried, and God knows what else.

The three of us went into the Hub and I took some pics of the Halloween statues since they just put them up.

We went on the TTA next cause bae.

I was so happy because the lights were on in Space! Eeee! And plus Meg hadn’t seen Space down before so this was a big deal. I guess.

Next stop: Laugh Floor!

This happened.

I don’t know why, but TONS of people left during the show. I don’t know if they didn’t speak English or what, but it was ridiculous.​

September 13th (part 2): OLAF IN FOOD FORM

We had to head out of the park after that because we had places to go, things to eat!

We encountered a Seven Dwarf aka Flashy in the line for the boat. Pull your shirt up, sweetheart.

After the disaster that was not going to this ADR last time, FINALLY.

We were seated and I literally* ran to the buffet

And then my second plate because duh

This was a very interesting meal to say the least. I was so food drunk. I had to use a flashlight to eat my food because the light above us blew out. We took some selfies.

Why didn’t we get kicked out

AND THEN OLAF CAME ALIVE IN FOOD FORM AND ALL OF OUR MINDS WERE BLOWN

After they practically kicked us out, we took a bus over to Hollywood Studios. But on the internal bus, we got to see the latest fashion trends, including wearing a flashlight on your head. I needed one of those at Trails End.

Once we got to MGM, we set up our tripods to shoot da fireworks. AND HOLY CRAP THERE WASN’T EVEN ANY SMOKE WHAT WHAT WHAT.

SNOAP

We took a bus back to SSR and headed up to the room. For like 5 minutes before going to MK for EMH.

I tried to enter the park with my Magic Band that we got from staying at SSR but of course, we can’t have nice things. Good thing I had my card with me.
We went to City Hall and I asked if they could link my ticket to my Magic Band because I thought I would need it for EMH and this woman had no clue what I was talking about. I was literally* fighting (ok not really) with her for like 15 minutes. I knew more than her of course. She finally did something which took all of two whole seconds. Why didn’t we do that before….?

I love CMs.

Anyways

First stop was the Tomorrowland Speedway cause this was mandatory.

Meg drove. I sat in the passenger seat and was dying laughing. Fun times for all.

We went on the Barnstormer next. 45 SECONDS DUDES!

And then we went on Buzz.

Kicked butt.

We stopped in the Confectionery and the Emporium on the way out. I bought a Haunted Mansion mug and Meg dropped a ton of cash. #YOLOdisney

We headed back to the bus stop and I think we woke Mum up when we got back. Yeah.​

September 14th (part 1): An omnibus full of tears

We woke up bright and early because we HAD to make it to see the Welcome Show. I had never seen it before so this was big.

I went down and got some breakfast before we headed to the bus. Chocolate croissant, duh.

We got to MK at like 8:30 or so and WELCOME SHOW TIME! FINALLY!

Eeee!

We walked into the park and the omnibus was out. I have never been on a Main St vehicle before and this was like mind blowing. The omnibus is never out at WDW and I had a heart attack. I HAD to go on.

Sadly, we didn’t get the very front bench at the top but we were right next to it.

Off we went! I was basically* crying.

We were walking into Liberty Square and the Dapper Dans casually passed by. We took a picture with them but the sun was so bright and I was blind and I am not posting that.

September 14th (part 2): In which our hair is flying

My Chippies were already out so we stopped and said hi.

Mum was having a hard time with Meg’s camera…

Splash had no line and Meg had never been on it before so just me and her went on. I handed Mum my camera so she could catch us coming down.

We only got a little wet so there’s that…

Surprisingly, Mum took some pretty good shots while she waited for us. And by shots I mean one.

I don’t even remember what we did next.

I know we went into Sir Mickey’s…

…and then we took some pictures around the Punzie Potties.

We had an early lunch at Cosmic Rays next. BURGER TIME!

We had things to do so we headed out of the park and took a bus back to SSR. Me and Meg got off at Congress Park and Mum went back to the room.

We walk over to DTD and that is a really nice walk. I love the new bridge and dock. I could do without the view of construction but ya know.

First stop was Design a Tee so we could get our trip shirts. Of course, they had to change something because we can’t have nice things. You will see the shirts later…

They would be ready in 45 minutes so we walked around and WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH NOT HAVING TSUM TSUMS IN STOCK. Like, they only had the giant ones which is total bull crap.

Meg dropped some cash in WoD, we picked up our shirts, and then headed on back to SSR to get ready FOR THE BEST NIGHT EVAH!​

September 14th (part 3): Bow down, peasants

Meg and I went back to the room. She took a shower and I went on Twitter and god knows what else. Mum told us that she was gonna go to the gift shop and walk around the resort. She still hadn’t gotten back to the room so we were wondering where the crap she was.

All of a sudden, the porch door opens and there she was! Didn’t even notice she was out there. Oblivious is my middle name.

Anyways

We got ready for MNSSHP!!!! and I had to do some things to my “costume” aka cut my hair aka my life motto is YOLO. The bathroom sink was filled with my hair. It’s not like I cut a ton off, but my costume needed to be perfect. And you can’t even tell when I have my hair down where I cut it, so it is all good.

People gave us some weird looks. Like, bow down, peasants.

And then we had the girl across from us who pulled out her cigarette making kit and was rollin’ those puppies away. #livinitup

After we got off the Bus of Weirdos, we made our way into DA BEST PARTAY EVAH.

And of course we got there at 4. Gettin’ our money’s worth. And by our I mean Mum’s.

And plus walking around MK for 8 hours dressed as a princess >>>>

First stop was the Fire Station so we could pick up the special SotMK card so we could sell it on ebay. Haven’t got around to that but ya know.

We skipped around the Kingdom. At some point, we got an ice cream and some water and chilled in Cosmic Rays cause AC and that background music is so amazing.

And I was doing some modeling for my future career with Victoria Secret. Anna was really sexy. Like, wow.

While we were in the Tent of Awesomeness, we saw Libby! She came over for a few to talk to us. And she loved our costumes.

As did every child in the Magic Kingdom that night.

Oh. And then Olaf’s “thingy” (one of the buttons) fell off so we had to go on a hunt for a safety pin. We found one in Castle Couture. A CM just had one chilling in her costume. Thanks, even though that is a little weird!

ALMOST TIME!!

But why did we go back to Main St…? OH WHALE JACK BALLOONS! AND THOSE MICKEY BATS LSJRKLJSDL.

And then we just ended right back up in Storybook Circus to meet some characters BECAUSE IT WAS TIME TO PARTAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, we saw Daisy. And wow these pics are great. You guys get the point.

And then we saw Goofy and Donald! Donald is the cutest in his pumpkin costume. But why isn't Donald meeting with Daisy? And why doesn’t Goofy have a special Halloween costume?

After we traveled down the wonderful CANDY TRAIL, we went to go see someone that smells like strawberries.

I can’t even tell you guys how busy I have been. Like, it is ridiculous. My life has been taken over by my school newspaper. I mean, the finished product is always awesome, but god. It is nuts. I did win a first place award for one of my stories, but ya know. Nothing too exciting.

I am two months behind on this thing, but that’s what happens when you go to Disney every weekend. There are some weekends I don’t have any updates for because for one, I forgot my memory card for my camera, and two, other reasons. That explains that.

So let’s get down to business!

September 14th (part 4): That time Lotso's heart had to be thawed​

When I last left off, we were getting ready to meet everyone’s fave bear (besides Pooh and Duffy of course), LOTSO!!!

After we got some candy (I am guessing), we went into PFH because duh we had to meet our twins.

September 14th (part 5): All da baes

Next stop: PUMPKIN WAFFLES! Those things are so amazing. I love them so much.

Meg had to go to first aid for some advil. And guys, here is a MNSSHP top secret tip. Just go to first aid, ask for a bandaid or whatever even if you don’t need one, because they have candy and you can get some. So yeah. Go to the First Aid Unofficial Candy Stop. You’re welcome.

Now here is where things got cray cray. Not really. But let’s just said Hallowishes makes me high. Like, legit high.

We found a spot by Casey’s and set up our tripods. I even had room to dance! #winning

I am not that thrilled with these pictures. I mean, some are ok, but using my 50mm didn’t work out like I was planning. Oh whale. I know you guys will be like OMG THESE ARE SO GOOD but whatever.

Sorry I missed you over fall break---- but we'll be back! December 20-23 (wilderness lodge or Port Orleans-princess room can't decide which to do....we've done both just can't commit to one....story of my life....I'm obsessed with the resorts) Anyway I'm sure its going to be crazy busy but I MUST SEE THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AND DECOR!!! Here's hoping I've done all my "Santa" duties by then so I can really enjoy the trip!! Talk soon!!
