Multiple tickets for different trips in app question

Hoping someone has experience with this. We have a trip planned for Christmas which will be 5 day hoppers. We also need to buy two 3 day tickets for April as my youngest son will be performing with his band and my older son and I will be heading down to watch. I want to buy the 3 day tickets before the price increase but I have never travelled when we would have multiple tickets. Is there a way to unlink the 3 day tickets so we don't accidentally use them? We like to use magic bands which makes me even more paranoid that we will somehow scan in using the wrong ticket.

You will need to make reservations to visit a park on a particular day. If your 5 day hoppers have reservations for December and your three day hoppers have reservations for April, there should be no way to mix them up. You would not be able to enter the park in December using tickets with reservations for April.

Using magic bands would actually make it even easier. They can only be linked to one ticket at a time. You would have to manually reassign them to your other tickets in order to access them. But, as the PP said, the reservation system will also ensure the you don’t accidentally use the wrong ticket.

You'll make park reservations for the individual tickets, so there's no way to use the wrong ones by accident. If you tried to use your spring tickets in December without a reservation they wouldn't be valid. Have a great trip!
