Multiple PS's on same day?

As Mrs. GG and I plan our dining options during our July WDW trip, she is asking the question, "How am I supposed to know what kind of food I'll be in the mood for months in advance?" As irritating and unproductive as that attitude can be while I'm in "focus-mode," she does have a valid point.

So I'm wondering outloud, "Can you make multiple PS's for the same day/meal or will the system only allow you to make one PS per meal, per day?

You can make mutliple reservations for the same day, the system will allow it but keep in mind that you are then taking a time slot away that someone else might want but can't get because you have it.
