For those of you that have more than one contract in the same use year how do they show up in your account?

We have a direct contract at SSR and we are in the process of adding on resale, also SSR and same use year. I am wondering if I will be able to tell the contracts apart in my account, and if I will be able to decide which I want to allocate for a reservation.

This will only matter if we are wanting to make a reservation at a new resort, I expect, since the resale points will have restrictions that my direct points do not have.

When you log into your dashboard, at the top of the screen where it current shows SSR for you with your ID and a picture of the resort, you'll see back and forth scrollers to see the different contracts on your resort. The vacation points dashboard will show the totals of all contracts per UY.

When you go to "Manage Vacation Points" you'll see each contract listed. It'll be your original contract with a .0 at the end for your original contract, and then a .1 for your new contract. It will break down points for each individual contract. Some thing on the dues page.

Congratulations on your additional contract! If the resale is title exactly the same and the contracts are the same use year they will show up on your account as two separate contracts and you will be able to choose which account points will come from and which account you want to borrow from or bank

So when you book and have a mixture of direct and resale points, you may want to use resale points and not direct,

How does that work? Or does the system use resale first?

When you have multiple contracts, you will be given the option of which contracts to use when making a reservation. Select the resale contract - or if you need to use both, select the resale first and the direct secondary. It will then try to use all of the points in the resale contract first*.

*the exception to this is if you have banked or borrowed points in your second contract that will expire. The system will always select expiring points first, in the order of contract selection, and then current use year points.
