I tried searching, but didn't really find what I was looking for.

We have a trip in December and 4 of the 5 people will come from one location and the other person will be from another location. We all want to ride together to the resort.

When I added the ME to our reservations I said all 5 of us were on the same flight. Then I realized the baggage tags for one person would be wrong. So I called and the CM said that Southwest was not on the list, so we would have to claim our own bags and we mine as well leave it as it is. Now I know from here that this is wrong.

So, the question is:

Do we have the person leave the luggage tag off and claim their bag (as they are arriving about 1 1/2 hours earlier) and check into ME with us or...

Do I call and hope to get a CM who knows what I want to do and have the luggage tag changed, but their reservation be the same as the rest of the group?

I'm sure this can not be the first case where this has happened.

Thanks,
Sorry so long.

We are headed out next week and have a similar situation. My family is flying in on AA and using ME. My parents will be flying in on Southwest later in the day. Since we are paying for the trip and everything is in our name, I received all of the ME stickers and just mailed the two sets with my parents' names on them to them. Aside from the names, all the info on the tags was the same--even though Disney showed no flight information for my parents. I spoke to a CM who said that Disney will pick up all the yellow-tagged luggage and get it to the hotel listed on the yellow ME tags. She said to have them (my parents) go to the first floor ME welcome center in the main terminal and give them our reservation number for transportation to the hotel.

Based on this information, your friend should be able to use the yellow ME tags for arrival without a problem. I would have them speak to someone at the hotel to correct the info for their return flight though just to be sure her luggage gets to the right departing plane.

Hope this helps!
