Multi-ressie at BCV???

I am right in the middle of planning a trip with another family for mid-Aug at BCV. I am going to try to reserve a 2 BR lock-off for the bulk of our trip when the other family will be with us but only need to have 1BR for the first and last nights because they will not be with us. I understand that this will mean 3 separate ressies(but hopefully we do not have to change rooms 3 times?) - does this mean we will get housekeeping 3 times even if we don't change rooms and are only staying Mon - Sun?

What you are proposing is indeed three separate reservations. And there is no guarantee you will be able to stay in the 1BR-2BR-1BR without moving out of the 1BR. You can certainly request it but since you are changing accommodation sizes I don't believe the reservations can be linked.

So yes, you might have to move twice after check in. While it seems like you are just "adding and dropping" the studio portion of the room, it actually is not treated that way in the computers.

Like I said..you can go ahead and ask but be prepared to move. Or, if you hate moving like we do, be prepared to just reserve the 2BR for the whole stay.

Don't know how successful BCV is at keeping people in the same room, but OKW did a phenomenal job. The two ressies were linked, and we only had to 'check-out/check-in' at the front desk after our friends left the studio part of the 2 BR. We also had a cash ressie for one of the nights in the 1-BR and it was seemless. Mousekeeping was on the same schedule as if we had booked a regular 8 night reservation. We were even given a choice of several 2-BR units that were available at 8 AM (VERY unusual) and we wouldn't have had to change rooms after our friends left in any of those that were offered.
OKW is larger, so perhaps it's easier when there are more units to work with. AND, we only had two changes of unit size, not three. Good luck!
