Before I found this website and bought my Unofficial Guide I purchased a package plan through AAA. We have the "buy 3 days of tickets, get 2 days free" park hoppers.

Do you have to use the park tickets consecutively? Last week I learned that Wicked was in LA so I had to get tickets. I thought about spending the whole day away from DL (go to the beach then to Hollywood in the afternoon and Wicked at night). The Wicked tickets are in the middle of our DL trip. We arrive on a Saturday; Wicked is on Tuesday (would be Day 4). I won't get my AAA package details for another 3 weeks (how can they make me wait that loooooong?).

I now also have to find a hotel for the evening of April 23rd. There are TOOO many to try to make a decision now. Do all the hotels book-up? Or can I wait until we get there then shop around, and hope the prices drop? I want clean and safe, no frills; and since I keep adding more and more to our trip I'd like to try for an inexpensive hotel for the extra night.

Thanks for your help - I haven't been to DL for 7 years. In 2000 I did two single day trips while in LA on business. This time I'm taking my nearly 5 year old.

No I don't think you have to use them consecutively, I think you have up to 14 days after your first visit. But I'm not 100% sure :confused3

No, you do not need to use the parkhoppers on consecutive days. I believe you either have 13 or 14 days from 1st use to use the remaining days.

I would definitely try booking a hotel now. From my experience, rates only go up as your dates get closer. Good luck.

You definitely don't have to use the park days consecutively and it is 14 days from the first date of use. At that time, the tickets will expire, so sounds like you have no problem!

You don't need to use them consecutively, they are good for 13 days after the first use.

I would try to get a hotel now, prices aren't really likely to drop and you may find they are all booked up.
