Multi-day MEP

So at DCA today and Monsters Inc. went down right before our Lightning Lane was good. Gave us a MEP to use (3rd one of the day at that point)

Anyways, I rebooked the ride for 9:00 tonight and it was still down. The interesting thing, though, was the MEP it gave me the 2nd time was good for the last hour of today and/or the entirety of tomorrow.

I plan on using it at my discretion tomorrow when I go to DLR, but I didn't know they would give a MEP that would span a 2nd day. Guess that's based on how late I'm the day the ride broke down, though.

Thanks for sharing. If in the last couple hours of park operation, they sometimes issue MEP with next day availability. We had this happen last week. We also had one time Monsters went down when we were leaving the park for the day at 7 with young kids. We went to guest services and politely explained we were leaving and couldn't use the MEP that expired that day (Monsters was our last ride and literally broke down at 7 when we were about to board). We didn't expect anything, but the CM graciously issued us a new MEP valid for the following day.

Worth a try if this happens to others if the MEP is not automatically valid for the next day. Just don't expect it from the CM - it was a courtesy.
