Mugs at OKW...not like its any big deal but...

We just returned from our OKW trip and I was putting our refillable mugs in the dishwasher and noticed they said 2004 on them! I know its not THAT big of deal, but I kinda would like it to be current for souvenier purposes!! They don't even say OKW on them! Also, it is the EXACT, EXACT same mug as our Vero Beach mugs from last summer, even the color (HHHMMMMM, had I known that........!!!!!) Just wondered how long they are going to keep these since it is already April of 2005!!

Were you the object of scornful looks and notations on the "bad" list for flaunting a 2004 mug that "could" have been from another resort? Sounds like a close call to me!!

Geesh! I guess reusing the mugs isn't an issue then since they are still selling the old ones!

Hi loveit, We were at HHI last month and they were also using 04 mugs. The CM told us that the 05 mugs would all be the same for every DVC property and they were selling the 04 mugs until the new ones came. That takes the fun out of collecting them,doesn't it? Sad Love Dizhoni

At least it will make it easy to be guilt-free about refilling my mug at a different resort than the one I'm staying at, or refilling a three year old mug!

When we were at Vero over Easter we got mugs and I noticed 2 things. One the didn't say vero on them. Two the had the year 2005 on them. The do however say Disney Vacation Club with the logo
