MSEP to end Oct. 9 - Parade moves to Disneyland for a "limited time"

The music seems to be a combination of Baroque Hoedown and some pop song that I agree seems wrong, but it doesn't totally ruin it for me.

But to me, MSEP has never been about the specific characters, and always about the presentation and technology. I'm getting tired of the overuse of flat panel LED screens, yet as long as the characters are ones we'll recognize and remember, I don't think it matters whether they're 50, 30, 10, or 5 years old.

I'm basing this on YouTube videos. I suspect I'll never have a chance to see it in person.

I don't disagree with either of you. I'm not big on the Pixar stuff. I much prefer the classics. But it is a gorgeous parade and I hope we luck into seeing it this fall. Of course, part of my fascination with it over MSEP is that we've seen MSEP more times than I can count and PTN only once. I feel like I haven't even had a chance to get to know it yet.

I do love how perfect Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dream lights does by combing past and prescient Disney films while having at least three Pixar floats per film. It actually fits very well.

I think the music would have been better without Baroque Hoedown on top of it? Or without the pop song? Not sure. I'm also not a big Cars fan. But I'm sure it's better in person, most parades and shows are
The music also feels way to "Disney Channel" like.

I've seen it twice and it is fabulous, IMO. I think it's the best night time parade I've ever seen. I would watch this parade every night if I could. I also love the music since it's a modified Baroque Hoedown.
You should see this

Do we have any word on what will be replacing MSEP? This makes me so sad. One of my favorite Disney memories was watching my DS's total enthrallment with the MSEP when we were there this past May. Priceless!
