ms told me the wlv points that i rented for the wlv 11 month ressies became what my home resort bvc , and i cannot make the 11 month ressies for the wlv, that i have to wait until the 7 month

Here's the problem. I'm assuming you had them transferred into your account. The DVC computer can't currently track the original home resort of transferred points so they revert to your home resort. They actually can do it manually but it may take a day or two. If you push them hard enough, they will do it. Good luck.

You tried long enough to have them transferred.
It will happen.
put your case through by email explaining where they came from use year, from whom ,their membership number etc.

Thank you DEAN, you are right , i just got off the phone with ms and after going around and around with them, i did get the same answer that you had said, a supervisor has to put the ressies in by manual, and ms told me to call 11 months out from the last day we are checking out, but i am afraid if i dont call day by day i will lose the two bedroom and studio that i will need.

and yes, i did work very hard to get three wlv owners to rent points to me, and i have all the points transfered to me already t for my first half of my stay at the wlv, the second half is at my home resort bcv and using all my own points, thank heavens

Oh my goodness Sue, I had no idea that the points transfered would get your booking window. If I had known, I would have been more then willing to call and make the ressie for you. I just thought the transfer would be easier. I also wouldn't feel comfortable relyng on someone else to get the reessie I needed, specially at Christmas time. Sounds like you were able to get the booking window worked out though. Good luck with your ressies.....

thanks! im just glad that i had called ms and mentioned about making ressies with the transferred points, before i had to make the ressies, now i know what has to be done and ask for a supervisor right away to make the transaction for the 11 month,
i just hope my post could help anyone else with the same problem

What happens if I receive "transfered in" BWV points, but I have both BCV and VWL in my master contract. Which resort will the transfered in BWV points convert to?

Johnnie, it will depend on which contract you tell MS to transfer the points to.

if you fail to specify, then the MS CM who does your transfer will just arbitrarily pick one.

You tell them which contract and I believe you also have to specify the use year to transfer them to if it is not the same as yours. Technically add ons are separate contracts even if they are linked. they are treated somewhat seemlessly when appropriate but in some situations must be looked at separately.

There is one caveat here. That is that one who was willing to abuse the current situation could do so fairly easily, at least for a while.

The true "master" contract for this purpose is the first contract you purchased. If you don't specify, as suggested by Dean, then MS will place them under the first contract you purchased, regardless of the number of add-ons. This is what happened to me and how I learned about transfers.
