Ms. Franklin and the National Anthem JUST TERRIBLE

Ok, American soul music icon, some fantastic music all these years, but doesn't anyone ever check to see if these folks can still sing.

I mean she was just awful---terrible---horrific----get Simon Coweli, because with that rendition of the National Anthem she'd make the worst audition montage.

After it was over my comment was "that is the worst rendition of the National Anthem I have ever heard at the SuperBowl" Neville was horrible, I think he was picked because of New Orleans....that's where he is from? pairing Aretha with him? bad choice...And what was with the huge fur? Weren't they indoors in a climate controlled environment?

My 2 favorites? Whitney Houston and Faith Hill!

OK, I guess my sarcasm didn't come across....

Of course Roseanne Barr wasn't good..she was awful and her version was downright disrespectful. But hard as it is to believe, the Neville/Franklin rendition was even worse!

Aaron Neville was bad? He sounded good a few years ago when I saw him singing on a show.

I missed the preshow and I guess that I'm glad now.
