MS Early Hours for Cruise bookings 10/14?

MS said they were opening at 8am today for 2010 cruise bookings. trying to get through but a recording says that MS opens at 9am. i've tried 10+ times. anyone else having this problem?

yes - and I am going nuts!!! they personally sais they would be open. One person did post on the cruise board they got thru to DVC and were taking to them...

Finally got through to the "hold" message. Up to 15 minutes. We will see.

Yes - I got on hold, and was finally put thru to a dvc CM. She rather peevishly told me I needed to get thru to cruiseline - so she put me back on the same hold...But, at least I have music!!!

Called right at 7 am - DH was going to book it, but I am home for a dr appt this morning, so I got to make the call.

I started calling about 10 to 7 am with no results, but at 7:01 am cst, it started ringing and I let it ring no less than 50 times, when a CM picked up! I was overjoyed.

The process went smoothly. Once she had all my info, I was on hold about 30 minutes or so while she booked with DCL for me. She returned periodically to tell me what she was doing. Very nice and helpful CM!

We are booked on the 7/6/10 Baltic Cruise and have two staterooms! Yay!!!!!!!

Good for you Carol. I started dialing too, but it must have been the luck of the draw, or maybe your fingers are faster!!!

I just hope DVC inventory holds...Cash people are having problems too tho.

I'm still on hold. Did anyone get the story about why MS did not actually open at 8:00 a.m. as advertised?

I was on hold from 8 for a 1/2 hour and then disconnected. Then I called back and held for more than 45 minutes. I finally was able to book the cruise I wanted online. I'm giving up on points (today). I'll rent them or try and switch them over late...sigh..this does not seem very vacation like

Got through at 8am sharp and actually got a CM!!! Booked with points/cash and the whole process took about 70 minutes.

Wow. I had no idea this was scheduled for today. I called a couple of minutes before 9:00 (didn't realize I was early) and got the recording about "MS opens at 9:00 a.m." so I hung up and waited a couple of minutes. I was calling to reschedule a reservation to a different resort (it's the 7 month date). I called again right at 9:00 and got straight through. Thank goodness.

We got it!!! Cat 6, 8/7 cruise!!! took about 55 miinutes. Mia our rep was great.

FYI - There are a limited number of MS Advisor's trained to help book cruises. That may be the reason to the extended wait time.
