Mrs.Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant Closed

Hi.

I saw this and thought someone might be interested to know...

The restaurant has been closed temporarily due to a "cockroach infestation in “critical food areas.”"

Once they get it cleaned up they can apply for another inspection and reinstatement...



Makes me wonder about their internal inspection practices, to not have known this was an issue and been more pro-active in dealing with it themselves.

Apparently it re-opened later yesterday evening:

A discrepancy between the report from the health dept. and the restaurant as to where the infestation was found...."critical food area" vs. utility room.

Still makes me concerned about their internal QC practices.

I saw several tweets about this as well as other articles. I hope this gives them a big wake-up call to improve their area, and I hope that inspections continue to insure they follow through.
