Final Thoughts
Well my trip report has come to an end which in some ways makes me feel like the trip has ended all over again. This trip was very short, but as you can tell it was packed full of great memories. Thank you to all of you who followed along and helped me relive those memories! A special thanks to Liz for helping me make all the great memories.

I cant wait to see you Marathon Weekend 2011. I hope I can meet up with some of the rest of you who are planning on being there in 2011 too. If any of you are out there pondering whether you should take the plunge and go for the Donald I say do it! If I can do this so can you! Just decide to do it, commit to training and before you quite know what hit you, you will be crossing that finish line!
Other thoughts on the trip. I loved staying at Bay Lake Tower.

The location is incredible. Im not sure it beats the location of the Epcot resorts, but it is definitely in the competition. The studio was quite small and I wouldnt recommend it for anymore than 2 people, but it was just fine for us. Deluxe Dining was fabulous for a short trip. I do think it would be too much food for a long trip, but for a 2 day trip it worked out great. Two of our meals were 2 credit meals so we only had 4 table service meals spread out over three days. Perfect.

We didnt need the snacks, but it was nice to be able to take some treats home for the kids.
So as Ive already mentioned I will be heading back for Marathon weekend 2011. Im bringing the whole family this time and we are all going to get medals.

My kids will do either the Mickey Mile or the 5K and DH is going to run the half. (He was going to do the full with me, but then wed have to figure out what to do with the kids plus his knee has been bothering him.) Then if all goes well next year the plan for 2012 is the Goofy. (the half and full marathon) DH and I will go on a solo trip and I will spend my 40th birthday running in Disney! What could be better? Anyway in 2011 the family will stay in a 2 bedroom at the Boardwalk Villas. I just booked it today! It is my first official reservation as a DVC member.

(We just recently joined)
However, before then there are a couple more trips in the works. My parents are taking my daughter on a 10 year old trip. They are going on a
Disney cruise (and Im very jealous.) I will drive down to Florida with all the kids and well leave my daughter with my parents for the cruise. Then the boys and I will go to Disney World. I rented points for an Old Key West studio for a week. The boys and I will have fun by ourselves for the time my daughter is on the cruise and she will join us for the last few days. Then DH is flying down and we will spend a couple of days at Universal (were hoping Harry Potter is open) before driving back. It will be a fun trip!
Were also planning on a quick weekend over Halloween for the party. Were just going to stay 2 nights. We will probably just go into the Magic Kingdom for the party and spend the other day hanging out at Animal Kingdom Villas. I have big costuming plans for the whole family. Think the Darling Family of Peter Pan fame. (And DH as Peter himself.)
So those are the current plans, always subject to change. I dont think Ill do a PTR, but look out for Darling Family trip reports in June, November and next January.
And here is a final shot to end the report. Yes, it does snow in Disney World, but it really snows in Maryland. Here is my back deck at this very moment (and its still coming).
Thanks again for following along!
Mrs. Darling (but my friends call me Jenny)
