Hi:

We are fairly new to DVC and are coming to WDW in August. Our first night is at AKV, concierge and the balance of our stay is at Saratoga. Does anyone know how we get all our our luggage moved from one resort to the other? We are doing the sunrise safari the morning of check out at AKV and can't check out until we are done with the safari. We then have to go back to the hotel and check out and check in at Saratoga. We are not renting a car so, how do we move from one to the other...use normal Disney transportation with luggage???:confused3

Bell Services will move your luggage and deliver it to SSR at around 3:00 PM.

Disney makes this so easy. You pack up your stuff and they come and move it.
We had to do this once before and were not looking forward to it at all.
They made it so we could go off for the day and not think about it again. Everything was in our room by like 3 and they even put grocery's away.
Now you have only one night, so no biggie. We were in the middle of a 10 day trip, so it was a big deal to us. We were so happy.

Have fun!!

Arrange with Bell Services the night before a pick-up time for your luggage after Sunrise Safari because someone will need to be in your room in order for them to take (or deliver) luggage. When you're in your villa at SSR call for your luggage to be brought.

:goodvibes

We are doing a split stay also. Will Bell Services pick up my luggage at SSR and deliver to the Swan?

We did a split stay from OKW to BCV and at OKW we had to make the arrangements the night before. We HAD to be in the room when they came to take the luggage. They tagged all of our bags. We had alot of stuff with 7 people to include 2 babies. We actually had 2 rental cars, but figured it would be easier this way. With a $20 tip to take our bags and a $20 tip to get them back to our room at BCV it was worth it for us. We had to be in the room at BCV before they would re-deliver our luggage.

Does anyone have any experience with Bell Services transporting (cold)groceries when they did a split stay? I know Bell Services does keep them cold if you aren't around when they are first delivered to the resort...but I am thinking there is no way to control how long they'll be sitting in a van/truck/etc while being transported between resorts.

We are doing a spilt stay between SSR & AKV, but we'll have milk, eggs, etc.

The policy is they will move luggage from one Disney Resort to another. The Swan and Dolphin are not Disney resorts, they are Starwood properties.
