Moving to Orlando for College In July

Hellloooo Everyone.
Well, im going to Valencia College, just a community college in Orlando, and Im going to find an apartment in Orlando this summer.
I'm super excited for the nice Florida weather, and to be able to go to WDW as much as possible!
Just wondering if you guys down there in the college program/living near Orlando like it down there?

I go to UCF, and I work in MK! I love it here!

Valencia isn't "just" a community college; its a very highly rated & regarded college so congrats on your choice and I hope you are prepared for your first summer in FL - its HOT! anyways good luck and hope you find your college experience rewarding

omg yes, i extended my spring cp for the summer in 07 and i worked outside mostly and it was soooo hot!! i was always so glad for the rain because that meant no work haha. i always vowed to come back and do the fall program after that, and i think a lot of my friends transferred to orlando area colleges. i wish i had done that

I did my CP in Spring of 2009, and I'm about to graduate from school here in Kentucky! Me and the hubs (and our puppy) are ready to move back for grad school at UCF, along with applying for some PI's. Orlando is such a great area. I don't know where you're from, but if you're not from a bigger city like myself, the driving is probably a huge adjustment. Be prepared to adjust your schedule to the traffic. Other than that, there is so much to see and do. I met some of my best friends for life on my CP and I'll never forget all of the fun we had! So ready to be back in the sunshine!
