If you are staying at a Disney resort Magical Express will take you to and from the airport (MCO). To move from one resort to another you just need to take your luggage to bell services and they will move it to the other resort. You can pick it up from bell services when you check in at your 2nd resort. Be aware that it will take several hours for the move to be accomplished.

As the PP said, Disney will move your luggage. We tried a split stay last trip and actually just took a cab to our second resort so we could check in and have our luggage at our second hotel. I hated the thought of not knowing when my luggage would arrive, even if our room was ready, so that's why we did that. But luggage transfer works as well!

I do many split stays at WDW. I usually have Disney move my bags for me, but you have to understand that it isn't quick. I hand off my bags by 7:30am, and have never seen my bags, at the new resort, before 5pm!!! And there have been times that the bags didn't get there until after 6!!
If you are going to need your bags, I would just take a cab to the next resort, and bring your luggage with you. If the room isn't ready yet, you can leave the bags with Bell Services...at least you can access them if need be.

Be sure to make reservations for your return to MCO via DME. When you change resorts during your stay, you most likely will get two packets from DME. As long as you've made the reservations, you will get a notice the day before resort departure telling you what time to be at the bus stop the next morning!!
