Moving from value resort to BCV

We are planning to spend 2 nights in one of the value resorts before moving over to the BCV for the rest of our stay. Does Disney transport the luggage for us or do we have to make our own arrangements?

Disney will definitely move your luggage if you want. Just call bell services and they will come pick up your bags and transport them to BCV. There may be several hours between when they pick them up at the value and when you can pick them up at BCV.

We generally just transport our own bags between resorts just for less hassle factor. We always seem to need something that we've packed then we don't have access to it when we need. Most trips we have a rental car so its not a big deal for us to transport them ourselves.
