Moving from studio to 2br at OKW what about luggage transfer

I know I saw the answer to this question once before on this board but dont recall the answer. We are staying at OKW in a studio for two days and then moving into a 2br on a Sunday. On that Sunday we are leaving very early in the morning. If we take our luggage and perishables up the front desk on the day of the move will they transfer our luggage and perishables to the 2br? And will they also put the perishables in the refrigerator for you? We wont be back that day until after midnight so I am very concerned about the perishables.

The resort will be happy to store luggage and perishables (they will be refrigerated), but they will not automatically move them to the new room for you. Once the room is ready and you are ready to occupy it, they will transfer the items being stored - even if that's after midnight.

I would ask at check-in if they will try to allow you to keep the studio and not have to move. This is sometimes possible- although it's much easier to move from a 2BR to a 1BR or Studio without the need to vacate the room. While they may not be able to accommodate the request, it can't hurt to ask (I'd even call and make the request with MS before arrival and then ask again at check-in).

I would ask at check-in if they will try to allow you to keep the studio and not have to move.

That would be possible if they have a 2bedroom lockoff... if they have a dedicated 2 bedroom it would not be possible...

Perhaps you could call MS and see if the 2 bedroom could be booked as a lock off (a studio and a 1 bedroom that are connecting to make a 2 bedroom).

Otherwise as was stated your luggage can be stored (perishables and all) and delivered to the room once you are physically in the room to receive it.

When we moved from OKW once to FW, our perishables were put in the refrigerator at our new location for us. I don't know who was responsible-OKW CMs or FW, but it was very nice.
