Movies All Star & Length of Bus Time

We are planning on staying at the All Star Resort (Movies) and are debating on renting a car or not.

What is the lenght of time on the bus from the Movies Hotel to MK, AK, MGM & Epcot one way?

Is it a long time? Many stops before getting to the park? Better to rent a car?

I will be with 2 very excited kids (plus myself!) and don't want to be on a milk-run run that takes 45 minutes to get to MK.

Am I being unreasonable???

When are you going?

If it is during the week of Christmas, you might want to consider renting a cari. Otherwise try to get to the parks at openings and take a mid-afternoon break. The busses might not be so busy. I heard though at park closings, you might have longer waits for busses.
